- 6 Years ago I uploaded a video called 'Matt Smith Impression'. It went viral and sent me down the path that I'm now fortunate enough to call my career.
To give thanks, celebrate the anniversary and raise money for the Doctor Who: Lockdown Fund (Film & TV Charity Fund) I asked the twittersphere which speech they wanted to hear me perform in ye olde impression.

close, but not exact. if he didn't stick with his indoor voice, it might be a little bit closer to Matt Smith. for this speech, anyway.
@@Soron661 You know what they meant. Obviously it's not exactly the same sound but it's so similar that it's hard to notice many difference so people say "exactly" as more of a slight exaggeration.

I'd love to hear you do some non-eleventh Doctor speeches in the style of Eleven. eg. The Osgood box speech from the end of the Zygon Inversion, but as if Matt Smith was the Doctor. That would be cool to hear some reimagining's of existing Doctor speeches said be Eleven.

The Zygon Inversion speech is my favorite Doctor speech (maybe my favorite speech in anything?). It might be interesting to hear an Eleven version of it, but I don't think anything can measure up to the real one, with all of Twelve's intensity.

When I saw you on the stranger I audibly gasped and shouted “it’s him!” To my parents and sister who, unfortunately, don’t know who you are (yet). I have been with you ever since you released your impression of the 50th anniversary special in the gallery. I’m 17 now and you have no idea how cool it is to see you actually acting on my screen. It gives people like me who dream of making it up there hope that it is possible, even for those of us out there who spend all day rewatching doctor who.

Try listening to it without watching the video (as I am now). You hear Matt but know it's not Matt, yet are convinced it's Matt so you scroll back up to see it's not Matt. Weird and creepy doesn't cover it.

I soon as he said "Okay then..." I knew which speech it was going to be. This is probably my favourite Matt Smith speech.
He does sound exactly like him however with that speech itself you might wanna have watched matt do it first as there's a lot of fluctuations in the tone that just aren't here

Caledonian studios he wasn’t doing the speech as matt. he wasn’t acting he was just speaking so he wouldn’t have the inflections otherwise he’d have taken the time to learn the speech too
