Dear Archana for SS reactor we have 8-15 mm thickness depending upon Design Pressure.
For Glass lined reactors MS thickness varies from 10-22 mm and
Glass thickness range is 1.1-2.2 mm.
Thickness of Metal basically depends upon design pressure.

@@ChemicalMahi Yes. Visually we can make out. However, SSGLRs population is less than 0.1%. They are tough to manufacture. So 99.99% of GLRs are MS/CS GLRs..

How to prove earthing in glass lined reactor?
Dear Glass lined Reactor is basically earthed using a tantalum metal probe.
@@ChemicalMahi GLRs are provided with the earthing provision on outer shell.. However, it is not possible to completely dissipate the static electricity produced inside the vessel through Tantalum Tip + RTD combination. Hence measures to be taken to avoid reduce the static. Nitrogen blanketing is a must. Use dip pipes to reduce splashing of solvents. Sometimes, reducing the RPM also helps to reduce static production.
