I bought an Audi R8 V10/manual 2 months ago. It’s great. Hopefully I’ll be able to add a Porsche 911 so my R8 has a friend.
I went from a V10 manual 2011 model to a 991.2 turbo s. Still miss the manual gear box, but the turbo s is so much quicker and a big improvement on the infotainment
I just purchased mine and it's being transported this coming week. I've been dreaming about this for a long time and it's finally happening. I'm so excited and can't wait to drive it.

As you know not a 'diehard' Porsche fan [but better than anything the Italians or indeed McLaren can offer] and it passes the Sainsbury's speed bump daily test....[other supermarkets are available.] . Also, personally i think the 911.2 is the best 911. Better than the new one. More compact, not so showy, as in light bar and the like. Crayon grey for sure. And the interior quality and layout. I get it! As did You! Once again, Max, thank you. Excellent 'emotional' review.

Had a 991.2 tuned to 750hp. Amazing daily and hit 50,000 miles. Got a 992 Turbo S this month and my days it is blisteringly fast! The engine is based on 3.0 this time although 3.745. It’s set up and tune is closer to the GT2RS. It handles incredibly and you don’t notice the size. Sport exhaust was needed in the turbo. Honestly, try the 992, would love to know your view.

It's a better car but the 991 is a better 911 ;)
I have the same set up on mine... 640wbhp 750bhp. So easy to drive.
I’m contemplating doing the same, prices have come down on the 992 Turbo s! Bought my 991.2 turbo s over a year ago and I absolutely love it. Kept it standard but wouldn’t mind giving it a sensible tune(if I decide to keep it)

Just subscribed and great review! Have a 991.2 turbo s cab and is looking for an upgrade this year. I am attempted by used 720s but haven't driven one. I'm curious about your take between the two. Obviously 720s will have major advantages on the track, but how do they compare when driven below 7/10? Does the mclaren have more turbo lag when you punch it from the highest gear? What about suspension compliance on bad pavements? Thanks in advance!

I had a 991.1 Turbo S and wanted to upgrade to a 992 Turbo S but I just can’t get over how bulky and big it looks… so i upgraded to a 991.2 Turbo S convertible instead
Is the convertible noisier at high speed than the coupe?
@@arrougance i can hear the exhaust more and yes you can hear things outside more but it’s not loud. It’s a convertible
