    Thank you for the video and explanation of how to do this - pretty new to utilizing OneNote and this is a feature I would want. Was able to set up easy and seems to be working without issue so far. Thanks.

    Michele, thank you for the fantastic information. I have tried to find an answer, but with no success. Is there a way to forward an email to different OneNote Notebooks? I saw how to send to a different section within a notebook, but not to a different notebook.

    • @MicheleChristensen
      @MicheleChristensen  Před 2 lety

      Hi Julie, as far as I know there is no way to send a forwarded email to a totally separate notebook, probably for the reason you suspect (All emails you forward to OneNote come from the same email address). Just in case it is helpful, I wanted to mention this video where I show how to set up automatic forwarding in Outlook (still no way to send to different notebooks). I wish I had a better answer because that would be useful! ~Michele czcams.com/video/LCFjQA3sGxs/video.html

    If I save an email to one note, can I generate/forward the same email from one note once it has been saved?

    • @MicheleChristensen
      @MicheleChristensen  Před rokem

      Hi anderacpharmd, I don't think so unfortunately. It saves on a page in OneNote and I don't know of any way to generate an email from inside OneNote. I love your thinking though - such a good idea. ~Michele

    Hi Michele, I was wondering if you ever use Quick Notes? I cannot see how it is useful for jotting down quick notes as opposed to writing down a quick note into a designated NoteBook which would be a one extra minor step to do this. Thanks. Bill

    • @MicheleChristensen
      @MicheleChristensen  Před 3 lety

      Hi Bill, always nice to hear from you! I do use Quick Notes on occasion. I use the Quick notes when I'm not sure where something should go but I want to capture it. I then process those notes when I plan my week. If you are familiar with "GTD" or the book "Getting Things Done," one of the important features of that system is to collect things in a designated place and then process them (i.e. decide what to do with them). For some things, it's obvious and I put it in the right notebook right away. Other times, I just need to grab something and know that I will not lose it and that I will deal with it later. I also use an Android phone, and there is an option of a floating OneNote badge that creates a quick note (a new page within your quick notes section) with one button. That's really convenient as the button is visible from the home screen or many other screens on my phone. Thanks for the question, I hope this helps! ~Michele

    I have a simple question, but not one that I could find answered. In oneNote bullet journal. I have adopted an overall organization structure of Monthly log is a pager, the daily logs are subpages of the month with the title of the daily log as the calendar week. So week 34 - August 16 - 22 . Then from one of your videos I keep a "Rapid Logging Page" to collect junk for the day until I can sort it out that evening. I have a video on overall organization on bjon that would be a nice thing to see. Not the initial set up. I have looked at those, but one from a longer term view. What does the org structure look like for a one year BJ?

    • @MicheleChristensen
      @MicheleChristensen  Před 3 lety

      Hi David, I don't do my Bullet Journal by year. I have a single notebook I call my Bullet Journal, and I add pages as I need them. When I no longer need a page, it gets moved to an archive notebook for that year, e.g. "2021 Bullet Journal Archive." The Bullet Journal notebook always has the pages I currently need. It's a bit different than the way the BuJo system was originally laid out, but it works for me. Here is a "Tour My Bullet Journal" video that might be of help. If I didn't answer your question, feel free to reply and let me know. ~Michele czcams.com/video/V8vJRvznG7E/video.html
