The stage was amazing this year, so many options for the artists!

@@Gajol1000 Yeah, he did 2011-2012, 2015 and 2017-2021. Understandable, since 2011 was one of the best if not the best stage in ESC history imo.
@@1997Banane 2011 was very good and also something new. It seems like he got stuck in stagea with only a huge LED screen as background since. Not much fantasy.

I would love to see a video of the sound engineers live, I couldn't imagine how difficult that would be with all the instruments and people.
When you say instruments, do you mean the ones they play on stage? Eurovision rules mandate that the artists canât use any live instruments on stage: only playback. But the singing has to be live (except of the background singers that are not on stage during the performance).
So I imagine that makes the job a bit easier for the sound engineers!

@@Emtrax. No, the drummers are actually not using any drumsticks. They add them in later with CGI ;)

You only saw a few hours of the show but the set was used a lot more in the week before the big finale.
There's also the semi finals, and the shows that are not broadcasted on television. And they need to practice.

Maar even tussendoor. stel dat het maximale aantal bezoekers wel gewoon kon komen, waar was de greenroom dan gekomen? Andere zaal net zoals in Tel Aviv?
Volgens mij was het aan het begin al het idee om de Green Room weer in de zaal zelf te plaatsen, zodat de artiesten wat meer verbonden zijn met het publiek. Alleen was die die dan waarschijnlijk een stuk minder ruim opgezet dan nu, zodat er ook nog staanplaatsen zouden zijn. Ik denk dat er dan zo'n 13.000 bezoekers in hadden gekund ipv de gehele capaciteit (16.000) rekening houdend met de ruimte die het podium en de Green Room in zouden nemen.
In de zelfde zaal. Het podium staat bijna halverwege de arena en de greenroom is erg vergroot vanwege de afstand.

Het meeste gaat gewoon terug naar de leverancier. Dat lukte met het LED platform in Italië niet omdat die teveel schade had opgelopen door gebrek aan schoonmaak.

Cool but its much smaller than i was immagining it to be đ§ its actually a small event compared to some regular sports events... i though it was gigantic...
The space was actually redesigned to enhance social distancing, so they gave more space on the main floor for the green rooms, keeping the audience to the sides. The 2020 design had most of the floor space taken up by the audience.
For now we only see shots of the stage but not working 100% so it's better not to give a personal opinion yet.
