One major aspect of the bike is its sheer affordability. Starting at around $1,500, the RadRunner 2 offers a highly functional platform that can be added to and expanded for various purposes. It’s tough to beat that blend of price and functionality!
Rad offers a huge number of optional accessories that can be added to make carrying equipment, groceries, pets, or kids possible and comfortable. They say there are 330 possible combinations of these accessories, so there should definitely be a way to make the RadRunner work for you!
In addition to its functionality, we liked the bike’s overall design and comfort level. Its upright riding position with an ergonomic and natural feel made it possible - and enjoyable - to use for long periods of time.

Well, it might have done but they abandoned us in the U.K. still have my Rad Rover and with this for shopping it’s a close call to giving up my car.
If you ever get a chance to visit a Rad Power store, please do so. I was at the Brooklyn opening. They are a great crew.

Why not buy the $999 Lectric XP 3.0, which has a rack rated at 150 lbs and hydraulic disk brakes? It seems like a better deal and costs less.
Because the company is crap. No local retailers will work on them. Closest place is a 3 hour round trip, twice - drop off and pickup. They sent a new controller and a link to a video. What other $1,000 product is: we'll send you the parts, you fix it yourself? TV, Refrigerator, Washing Machine? Should have bought a Rad or Aventon.

You say ghost pedaling at 15 mph?🤔 what are these guys thinking ? Well the battery sure will last a long time I guess.
That's where it becomes noticeable. It isn't egregious within 20 MPH, but 15 is where you have to quicken your pace to keep up.
Mechanical disk brakes on an e bike in 2024 is ridiculous and you guys know better. Doesn’t matter if they work well when brand new, it’s the maintenance over time or lack thereof that makes mechanical brakes so dangerous. Moreover, children and older people may not have the hand strength to properly use mechanical brakes. Really disappointing that you guys would recommend a bike with inherently dangerous brakes in 2024.
This bike only has a limited 750 watt motor. It's really no need to have hydraulic disc brakes and these bikes are not for children
It depends whether your proposal backed up with mechanic experience and expertise or it is just consumer grade considaretions. What is your background to state that mechanic disc brakes are dangerous? I want to make it clear because I'm not mechanic. I wonder myself is it safe to choose mech brakes for such applications.
