Cool car. My grandfather had a ’69 XL Sportsroof, Bright Blue Metallic with white vinyl top and interior with buckets and console with "U-bar" shifter. I always loved that car, especially the wrap-around "Flight-Cockpit Instrument Panel." FYI this car is not a Galaxie. It is an XL. It was a separate model 1968-1970. The calling card of the XL were bucket seats and console, but in later years the bench became standard and the XL's signature bucket seats with console became an option.

It’s just a regular xl…xl/gt’s are in the 1200 range of total production. Vehicles that actually hit the road are in the 900s
