I got mine replaced through a company called, "UBREAKIFIX " here in Los Angeles, CA. When they replaced the screen? A new battery came with it because the front screen is connected to the battery and Samsung made it that way. It's expensive ($380), but "UBREAKIFIX " are one of few companies that actually get OEM Apple & Samsung products to repair/replace.
Why didn't you replace the adhesive at the back? It won't be water resistant anymore 🤔

Hi. I have a Samsung s21 ultra SM G998B/DS. I replaced the LCD screen and after that the phone has not cellular signal. Only a circle with a diagonal line. I did hard reset• Update software to android 12. Partition reset. Changed battery and charging port. Moved the gammel gps antenna to the new screen. Nothing work. Could be the signal flex cable or logic board or a automatic system to turn off radio signal? Need help

Interesting. Just had my screen replaced. Didn't realise that the new screen also came with a new battery. Bonus! How does the back piece actually stick on?
Most that I've seen don'tcome with a battery. This screen must be used.
A brand new battery is only $15 on eBay, and it's the factory Samsung one!
This person had plenty of the old adhesive intact, so they just heated it so that it would be sticky when pressed back together.
My removal wasn't as clean. Some adhesive stayed on the phone, and some was on the back cover.
I removed it all and used a B7000 glue that is waterproof and can be removed if heated and if needed. 👍

Too much.
Just replace the battery. The full display assembly isn't cost effective.

after opening your phone water resistant is won't work
It reduces the ip rating but if done well / used with new adhesive, it should be splash proof and what not, just not submersible
