- Today I am going to share with you How to make Fermented Vegan Ragi Ambli / Ambali, it’s one of the best Dairy Free Probiotic Drink for Weight Loss and Vitamin B12. You can use any millet to make this recipe. However, like making it with ragi or finger Millet also known as Nachini. Ragi is one of the healthiest options available owing to Ragi's rich calcium, iron, and antioxidant content. Also, Ragi is a lot more easy to digest for your gut. As time taking as it may be, it is definitely worth all the effort. Also, what it needs is just some amount of pre-planning.

very good video. a suggestion.to improve the fermentation,please keep some water in which the raggi is soaked aside,then when the boiled raggi cools down,add the same water to it in the pot,this will help good bacteria better...............

I have a few questions I hope you will be able answer.
1. Approximately how much of the fermented Ragi do yoi recommend using when adding nutmilk per glass?
2. How long can the mixture be kept for (shelf life)?
3. I heard that it should not be stored in a fridge as it stops the continuous fermenting process?
4. I am making this recipe for one person, so is it okay to take a glass (with added milk) everyday until the mixture is all used up?

After 6 to 8 hours of fermentation, you can store it in the fridge for 2 days. Same process like making curd.

Just add buttermilk, small onions and raw mango pieces. Also add fried butter milk chilly to this mix. Have it as savoury. Drink. It tastes much better

Yes, I have seen it in the 1960s as a child in the temples, I think Mariamman where they would serve koozh & people would take containers & collect it standing in the queue during the Summer season.
