To change the picture in the briefing room:
the name oft he carrier must be „nimitz“, then:

Picture size:

Change „JPG“ or „PNG“ in „PAA“ with arma tool „texview“

Instead of "this setObjectTextureGlobal [0," ttt_nimtech \ data \ tetet.paa "]"
you can of course use your own paa, resolution: 512x256.

This mod has extremely glitchy AI for me, I just wanted a background carrier to provide air support, but if you add ambient AI to the carrier, their catapult launches glitch out like hell and the plane just bowling balls into all the parked aircraft before crashing into the sea.
The two tanker aircraft take off with no issue, but the strike planes glitch out and don't even deploy with missiles.
I can't get them to direct me to take off like you did in the video ;/

How do you make AI launch do all this stuff without player interaction would I have to script it?

@@gorrett yes it does; just follow his procedure as detailed in the video exactly, and you'll launch
@@gorrett Though I admit: I'm not using the Nimitz, but the more user friendly A3 included one...

How do you get the refueling to work? I cant seem to have any of the ACE options show up

I keep trying to take off using the plane but every time I try to use the bar catapult it says “use the CBA key to use catapult”. What the heck is a CBA key?
It says my default CBA key is Crtl shift i and it sets everything up I just don’t have the option to salute and take off

This is great work, but the inability to destroy and move carrier, unfortunatelly is not a small flaws. Most likely the movement of such a carrier can be problematic, because of the features A3 engine, but as seems to me, the ability to destroy this unit, still can be implemented.
In my opinion it wouldn’t be realistic to even destroy the Nimitz. You better be packing JDAMs and MOABs because you’ll be shot down before you’d realize that dot on your radar is a carrier.

So when I walk up the plane, I cannot get inside it for some reason. The option to get in as pilot simply does not exist for me. Same for all the ground vehicles around there, I can enter as passenger, but not driver.

I am having issues setting up Nimitz boat, followed what you said to do and it doesn't pop up with the option.

All you have to do is put the nose of ur plane on a catapult and hit control L

Downloaded this last night and same thing I don’t get it in editor there’s nothing on the flight deck but join the game to test and the carrier and boom on fire from bow to stern
another thing iv crashed 9 times just driving the tow tractor moving planes if you run into anything my game crashes but slowing I am starting to make a living AI carrier
You probably have multiple ambiance modules loaded.

also times from the front or back pull the aircraft

Bro... When i press start in SP.. my aircraft are having explosion.. whats going on?
I rarely check the video comments here. What plane does explode and how do you place it?
After you populate the carrier, go back to the carrier’s attributes and make sure you uncheck the populate carrier button. When that’s checked, it spawns the jets again and they explode because of collision
@@steveaux03 but i put the name ID before i press Populate.. after i type all ID's the i pressed *populate* its exploded
