Hey guys! So this took WAY longer than I thought it would, but it was still pretty fun to make. I saw videos going around with this awesome character Dr. "Chad" Livesey and thought I'd make my own version. And after about a couple weeks it's finally done!

Medic actually fits in Jimmy's role . Because both in the cartoon and in the game you don't expect them to be this dangerous in a melee fight.
I once fought an ubersaw medic with demoknight. He won.
EDIT: his strategy was a strategy of a 6 hours spy, truly powerful. We fought on borneo, next to spawn

The Soldier is basically modern-day Livesey. The fact he's walking towards the enemy base with the shovel means he intends to market garden his way in and that is a very Soldier thing to do.
Nah he just left it there so the survivors could dig graves more efficiently, _because if not they'd be there for a while_

The raw power of this clip is insane. It's got a frightening energy. These three *walked* into the enemy base in 2Fort and then walked back out...with stock weaponry. No Rescue Ranger or Jag, no Gunboats or Escape Plan, no Crusader's Crossbow or Ubersaw. Absolute mad lads.

@@JarthenGreenmeadow Dead wrong. Crossbow and Market Gardener are 100% upgrades to stock in all situations. Rescue Ranger and Jag are upgrades to stock if you're playing around your sentry and not going battle Engi. Gunboats and Escape Plan are also a trillion times better for Soldier mobility and the vast majority play with them full time. Ubersaw is almost a straight upgrade to stock as well. Get with the program F2P.
Gotta love how Medic's basically pulling a classic German goose-step.
Have to say, this is probably the BEST version of this I have seen. The Soldier swings his shoulders correctly and on beat, chest puffed out, acting like he owns the world. 20/10 top tier stuff here
The gait is a off, though. He's moving his right leg with the right arm instead of the left.

The only unchanged things were the actual cycles. The weapons were changed which was probably more work than needed to be done. Also the fact Soldier has the briefcase too.. mad respect.
Soldier's unshakable confidence, Medic's spotless professionalism and Engi's nevereending dedication so well represented here.

Soldier marching to the intel with nothing but a shovel shows just how powerful he is
I like how soldier's proportions are more reminiscent of heavy, yet the confidence he gives off represents his personality, so it makes more sense for it to be soldier when compared with the original

As a Medic main, I can confirm some of my favorite moments on 2Fort are finding an absolute pubstomper of a Soldier and escorting a random Engie into the enemy intel room to set up a nest.
I played back in 2009-2011 those were some good times

I have never played TF2, but I’ve just found this after the Dr. Livesey clip and I’m just mesmerised by the animation. This video is awesome.

My favourite version simply because the characters actually have a story or they walk somewhere. Makes it more entertaining to watch and see what happens, instead of the same loop 20 times…

@@kwildspirit nah theres a difference between stock and market gardener, it folds in or smth, soldier was using stock shovel and came back with the stock rocket launcher, and medic was obviously using stock medigun

This is my favorite iteration of transformative work of the "Dr. Livesey Walk". Masterful reanimation of characters and utilization of in-game resources. I also love the character replacement choices made including the audio snippet at the beginning tying together the character development of Dr Livesey and Soldier; once again a great reanimation!

That was absolutely amazing, utilizing the whole song and instead of repeating the same scenes it’s actually a whole entire walkthrough of what you’re literally supposed to do on 2fort. Genius at work right here.
Not only that but instead of using the original audio like everyone else did he used soldiers voice line and it is great
I just recreated this in an actual 2fort game with two of my friends. All of blue team actually let us walk all the way to their intel and back and we capped their intel. They were speechless.

If I recal correctly, one of the inspirations for medics appearance, his medigun and backpack, as well as a couple of his cosmetics was the Ghostbusters.

I love how perfectly each character is depicted. The Medic player, serious because he knows he will be targeted and needs to stay alive. The soldier player, fully sure of himself that he's about to pubstomp some fools with his lads. It’s also because they’re all dynamic, expressive characters with cartoony proportions. Good character design is half the reason TF2 is still relevant.

This one is great. I feel like some of the other redraws only really put effort into Dr. Livesey's strut while making the other two kinda do a generic looking walk but there's a good amount of personality put into all three of them with this.
