for the original, i was recently theorising that batman/robin punch slower specifically for bossfights, where if you punched at the same speed the whole time as the boss, nothing would happen
Lego DS games will always have a special place in my heart because I grew up with most of them and Lego Star Wars III for the DS was the first ever video game I played

I have alot of very good memories with the lego games on the ds. I had 2 when growing up, star wars the complete saga which i 100% completed twice for the save files and also the first lego batman I finished probably once or twice Both are very nostalgic to me! I totally agree with your comments on the first ds batman though, the levels do feel repetitive especially towards the end

The first Lego Batman game for the ds does a much better job with its roster compared to the console version. There’s more characters, you can actually play as characters like huntress and black mask instead of them being related to only using their parts for the character customizer like the console version of the game, and every character has at least one ability that makes them worth using in free play mode even if they’re complete fodder like a riddler goon
LEGO Batman on DS was one of my all time favorites as a kid. I remember it was my first DS game when I got it and the DSi for Christmas, and I spent hours playing it all the way until the battery died and I had to recharge it. My DSi died years ago, but I never got rid of the game or other LEGO DS games I got, and thankfully I can still play them on the 3DS.

One time, I was playing the ds version of the first game in either my mom's car or my cousins mom's car.
Either ways I swear there was a level where you fight the red tornado, or it could be something else

I’ve always been a big fan of the Lego games. The first Lego Batman on DS was actually a very good port, the other 2 were pretty bad & very laggy. The console version of the first game is excellent too.

The only problem the DS has is that they will always be compared to the console editions.
The DS version of 2 was so laggy and slow. The 3ds/vita version is better
to be honest either it’s the ds or 3ds of lego games don’t work with ds play
