This is the first time we watched you, it popped up on YT. My wife started watching it and she said, "we'll watch this, these two seem real" and we thoght that the vlog was excellent. We live in Spain, up in a mountain village, you guys intoduced us to a lot of Spain just on this video. We may go back next year and a narrowboat or camper will be part of our plans, so thanks both for a great vlog and we'll explore your channel for tips and advice.

Next time you go to benidorm go to the old town and make your way to la Carla ,at the far end of the benidorm beach.plenty of restaurants and a much quieter area.you will find most of the spanish families go there and chill out.carry on camping and good travelling.

Hi Guys - super blog and I have been following your whole trip and the summary was great, I was disappointed with what you say about people personally criticising you, without people like you, others will not get the valuable information we need, so you keep up with the excellent work and I think people do not realise how much work goes into what you do with the videos. And I did chuckle to myself when you stopped at that park and ride site in Canterbury, I have lived here all my life and I did not realised it was for motorhomes as well, so it goes to show we all live and learn, once again thanks for the videos 👍

Really enjoying ya vlogs, you say it as it is, as truthful and unbiased as you can, i follow many van folk and campers, have met a couple, but as in life there are always odd ones that let the side down, clickbaiters, judging places by site costs and begging. We use a mix of tolls and D roads. If we just want to get on, we use the tolls, but if we have more time we will mix it with D roads. Many of the D roads are very good and run parallel with the toll roads, but you do get a lot of changes to speed limits and loads of roundabouts. The plus side of the D roads is you go through lots of smaller quirky villages, with markets and cheaper fuel and they almost will all have an aire.

It sounds as thou you missed the Cours des Dames and the medieval part of La Rochelle as well! It’s a thriving resort with fantastic restaurants, wonderful medieval architecture and a fascinating history.
We want to visit again at some point as we only stayed one night and are aware that there is much more to see and do. Thank you
Absolutely love you 2. Having watched so many motorhome and caravan loggers over the years I just love the way you say it as you see it. We have caravaned on & off for 40 years and have more or less done your trip through France and Spain and was a pleasure to watch you video. Very envious of your Kon Tiki but have to stick to a caravan because we love touring in the car once we pitch up. Honeymooned in Benidorm in 1975 as 19 & 24yrs old and been back many times but always avoid the strip. Look forward to seeing your future trips. We are off to Croatia in the van in May then back to Spain in July/August with the grand girls in the van. Kind regards and safe travels from Fred & Jackie ❤

To travel through France off the autoroutes you would probably save an hour a day and see much more. Interestingly you took the toll autoroute on one part where the N road is both quicker, shorter and free.
This was our first trip out of the UK in our motorhome and we were chasing the sun. We decided to get to spain quickly as we had only 4 weeks. We used our SatNav to guide us and with it being our first time we are not going to be as clued up as you. We are heading back through France next week

Great video I 35:56 really enjoyed it and so informative.We are planning on going to France and Spain in our camper.Ignore the negative people they obviously have issues.If I was use I would just delete and block the people who leave negative feedback.Keep the videos coming x

I really enjoyed the series and have watched along and enjoyed the show. The cost is irrelevant but I think for what you paid that is superb for a month, it cost my family of six almost £5K for 10 nights at Magic Rock in Benidorm earlier this year. Thanks for travel and here is to many more.

Great point, I didn’t and don't know how it slipped my mind. I used Tesco clubcard to exchange with the fee so paid £100 for a return trip. ~Full cost was would of been £300. Thanks for pointing that out 🤦♂️ Happy travels 😊
Great vlog! What options do you have if you run out of the 90 days you can stay in Europe? I think after Brexit you are limited to 90 days.
Hi, you get 90 days within 180 days part of the Schengen requirement. There is a little more to it depending on how you use your time in Europe however there are calculators online you can use. If you outstay your entitlement you will be fined, deported, and you could even be banned. Hope this helps. Happy travels 😊
Really appreciate your honesty, thanks both🎉 if I'm honest I've never fancied Benidorm for the reasons you've highlighted, 1 question Spain or France? I've always fancied a week or 2 in France seems friendly and clean.

The answer to your question for us would be both as they have different benefits however if i had to pick we do prefer Spain but some don't, we will be exploring France more at some point so maybe as it's 1-2 weeks explore France and if it's not for you next time move on the Spain. It's a hard one because everyone is different so try and see where it takes you. Hopefully that's helped a little. Happy travels 😊

Great informative video I love your down to earth vlog and well presented. Glad you just ignore the negative comments sounds like keyboard warriors. I think if they are monitored for this sort of bad behaviour they should be struck off CZcams altogether. Your trip has certainly give me inspiration to do a trip similar next year.

Shame you missed the old town in Tours.
It was only a one night stop and we didn't find out about the old town until afterwards or we would have chosen to visit there instead
