Columbia Psychiatry PTSD and Trauma Research and Treatment Panel Discussion on October 23, 2016

On October 23, 2016, donors Marty and Glenna Bloom sponsored and hosted a reception and speaker panel to raise funds and awareness for the PTSD and Trauma Research and Treatment Program, directed by Dr. Yuval Neria, within the Department of Psychiatry. The panel discussion included esteemed Columbia Faculty members, Dr. Yuval Neria, Dr. Blair Simpson, and Dr. Scott Small, and was moderated by the Executive Director of the Columbia Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, Bruce Shapiro. The event was held in memory of Marty Bloom’s brother, Teddy, who suffered from severe PTSD after returning from World War II at age 18.
