You have to find a set of long nose side cutting bent nose pliers to try to grab them and place them where needed. Took me a while. Good luck.

thx man, had the same problem, caliper and cables came new a year ago and the rear one on the driverside hanged up two weeks ago (was not driven in winter). Because of your video and my mechanic friend i changend the caliper and the problem is gone. i switched from non painted to painted caliper and sprayed the mechanism with lithium spray, hope that will help it to not hang up again.

Hi James! thanks for the comment ! The cables are good but that spring gets weak and won't release bake arm. So I replaced the caliper. don't forget to subscribe will be bring the 96 and 97 back on the road middle of next month as long as the snow is gone.

Hi Enrique Thanks for friending It's part of the Parking brake it helps release the internal mechanism inside of the caliper. It will come with the caliper.

It is not the cable, These calipers are junk the way they are designed, (To Me anyway). If a person does not use their parking brake a lot. It becomes rusted up.
