My Felicia had changing problems and a hot + terminal. Changed both terminals and found that the + cable was corroded inside the insulator. Cut off the bad bit and its now charging 14v at batt when it was only 12.5-13.2 earlier.
I have this exact problem. 04 yukon Denali fuel pump went bad. Got a new one and installed. Upon installing I noticed the ground terminal on the wiring connector was burnt a little. Connected it back up and everything was fine. Then the other day wife was driving and heard a weird sound. It was that terminal burning out more. So tomorrow I'm going to get a new wiring connector and hopefully that fixes it. Hopefully.

My fuel filter clogged cousin the fuel then why am I retarded card gas tank isn't able to take a full pumpwhile I'm feeling it acts like it's full but really it's just being backed up by the fuel filter
Or anther way you can fry your terminal is if your smart like me and don't disconnect your battery and try to loosen the bracket bolt on the bracket that holds the battery in and touch your metal ratchet to the positive side of the battery and sparks start flying and the terminal catches fire. True story...
Same shit that JUST happened to me. Bracket was hitting negative battery terminal (the corner of the black bracket turned white and dusty). And noticed alternator positive terminal was burnt. Literally melted right off. Part of the screw came off with the 10mm nut, so yeah, that’s my Saturday evening😅😂
nothing to do with the caption. if you have faulty fuel pump you should caption it fuel pump electrical issues not battery positive getting hot.
it gave me some insight as I've known about my faulty fuel pump and terminals also get boiling hot. it points me in a direction
