That’s really good. Sometimes it depends on the location of the restaurant as well. Some get really busy and have better crowds of tippers than others.
I agree with the budgeting tip, but I suggest investing your money into a savings account or a Roth IRA so your money can earn interest additionally cash loses value slowly due to inflation
100% agree. I used to save all my 1 dollar bills in a bag but now I transfer them to a high yield savings account each week. Definitely planning to open a Roth IRA before the end of the year.
I have an interview for server/bartender tomorrow. Your videos have really helped me gain insight on what to expect. I was reluctant on being a server because of some family members, but I’m currently in between trying to start a business and need the flexible hours.
I average at least 100 a day at my seving job as well.. one thing they love that I do is ask if they would like whatever beverage they were drinking in a Togo cup for when they leave…. They LOVE that
I have been keeping track of my tips for jus like the last 3 months? and I’ve gotten stuck in just 50 more than any other number :/ no one wants to tip good anymore, even if they say you’re like the best waitress they’ll hand me a dollar (that happened fr) and the restaurant I’m at is pretty dead most the time. I just am so jealous of the people talkin about how they leave with way more every shift
Where do you currently work at as a server? I have a couple interviews for a Host at different restaurants but I'm a little interested in being a server as well.🙂
GIRRRRRLLLLL … This video was God sent ! Literally, just quit IHOP to be a Server @ an upscale breakfast & brunch spot. Lmaoooo my last night I literally walked out with $15-$30 bucks ! I’m grateful but I found that humorous 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
my mom works at (and i used to work at) ihop and serving in a 6/7 hour shift we usually left with $160-$200
