My husband’s first symptom was mast cell activation syndrome… then his eye sight started going. I treat my PPMS with functional medicine… and I was the one who realized he had Ankylosing Spondylitis, and asked he be tested for HLA B27… basically he had a non celiac gluten sensitivity. My brother in law got diagnosed autoimmune diseases. He experienced loss of balance, can't walk on his own, and now he is admitted to the hospital due to he can't swallow and he is constantly having hard time to breath.
I have Primary Sjogrens diagnosed 5 yrs ago. My symptoms of Parasthesia came back in full force with vibrations in my legs and arms for about 4 months constantly then I started taking alpha lipoic acid and it has calmed down but still there. My current rheumatologist referred me to a Neurologist who said I needed to be seen by a Peripheral Neuropathy Specialist. Having trouble getting into one due to where we live and the lack of medical specialists. Rhumey put me on Immuran BID with minimal neuropathy now 6 months later. My question is could I possibly have another autoimmune disease as well? They have only been doing labs on Comprehensive not diagnosis.
Lupus is a Great Pretender. I got misdiagnosed for over 30 years. I finally got a kidney biopsy 2 years ago that confirmed Lupus. I hope you find a good Rheumatologist who is up on the latest as well as listens to you. Good luck.
You are so kind@@sandrak9173. It is hit or miss for me. So much damage. I had already exhausted all standard Lupus Therapies. Now I eat strictly Gluten Free. Organic as much as possible, get up and move, paid out the ears for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment to almost eliminate my crippling joint pain and keep looking for more things. I have Multiple organ damage, some my drs can't figure out. I live as best I can and sometimes do pretty well. This heat is a killer, so I stay inside now. That's hard. Getting a good Doctor early on, not after 30 years of symptoms and being brushed off can make a big difference. You are already going in a much better direction than I did all those years ago. I have a Rare Autoimmun Disase Morbus Behcet also Hashimoto Disase and i do have most of these symptoms but it took the Doctors very long to diagnose me with Behcet Disase and Hashimoto but my common symptoms where Ulzera and chronic fatigue and weight gain out of nowhere Hormonal Changes Headache Eye Problems and more
My ankles and lower calves get bloody red like a severe burn, and i swell. It started about 6 years ago small snd go away..ive had 2 severe episodes since then to the point the dr gave me prednisone and a cream for healing. It takes several weeks to go away. Last year o had no episode but this year i am starting too. Always around the same time every year
I am ANA positive 1:1000 end dilution and recurrent miscarriages But all other APLA, RF, Anti smith Antibody, c3 c4 , lupus anticoagulant, and beta and condrilipin IgG and IgM all are negative? Kindly reply
Why is the c vax recommended for rheumatoid vasculitis when it can flair disease. Isn’t the risk of stroke worse than c esp cause it does prevent getting it?
Doctors say this when they don't know the cause. Fibromyalgie is not a diagnosis. Fibromyalgie is a description of the symptoms people have with cronic pain in their muscles.
Only symptoms I have is joint pain and stomach inflammation but blood tests showed I had two inflammatory markers elevated but I have to.wait months before I can be seen by my Rheumatologist...I was put on steriods by my Family Dr while on them I'm fine as soon as I stop the pain comes back within a day what could it be
My age is 57 my ASO titer is 600 uric acid is 5.6 my tibbia bone ,all joinnts are in pain should I take uric acid medicine more over my weight is also increasing what to do and which doctor should be consulted thanks
