Totally agree with you and I live in the Lake District 👍
You're right, there's always something to shoot at the coast. I went to Seaham yesterday not realising it was so rough. The lighthouse getting a good pounding made for some good photos.
You are so very fortunate to have so many amazing options in easy reach! Thanks for your valuable insights and thanks for taking me along!
your work, your enthusiasm and spirit illumination from your soul into your art
Thank you so much.
ive followed u for ages Adam and ur comment about the tree is so true we had some idiots scare off a family of little owls here near my home i couldn't believe my eyes what they did just to get THAT shot blood boiling 18 months later they weren't even kids
Simon Baxter 😂😂 …. Nice touch 👌
I was surprised when I saw West Coast Scotland at No 5, but take your point, it's shooge place! And for anyone thinking of coming here, we're starting to see early signs of winter, so please make sure to bring full mountain clothing and footwear, and tell people where you expect to be going. Makes the mountain rescue people's job so much easier! 👍
I'm going to be in North/West Scotland in March (probably getting rained on), tramping around the mountains with my camera. Nice to see that area right off the jump in the video 😁
So good seeing the place I love and photograph enjoyed so much by another photographer.
Awesome, will add them to the bucket list if I ever get there. Totally understand about not giving specific places. It is sad when people who claim to be all about the environment have no clue as to the damage that they do by doing the things they do to get attention.
Completely agree with your choice for number 1. Sutton Bank in particular is one of the finest places I have ever photographed.
Perfect. I've been so many times.
Great video I'd like to see you do more of these maybe the not so well know places so we can see you work your magic.. Thanks again for all your efforts it's very much appreciated
I'll have to see how this one does first!!
Adam, thank you; very inspirational‼️
Inspiring video and beautiful to watch. Thanks for putting it together. Lived in Great Ayton for a while and so like your number 1 choice.
Fantastic video Adam. Even though I may never get to be there in person, I thank you for taking me along every time you shared your No 1 location vlogs.
Thanks again Adam, stay safe 🇦🇺
Any time!
Boom 💥 a cracking video with passion oooooosing from ever pore. Thank you 🙏
Excellent video Adam 👏always so inspired after watching your videos 👍
Thanks mate. So grateful for your attention.
Hard to dispute those locations Adam especially when it’s backed up by an array of beautiful and captivating images. The summary of North Yorkshire and the moors could easily make a wonderful book highlighting the beauty of the area in its own right
Ah thanks Jim. That means a lot.
Thank you for sharing, you are making me move to UK now!
Ha ha. You should!
Great video 👍👌 have you ever thought about doing a series of travel documentaries about your travels ? Would be so popular
Lovely video Adam, so sorry to hear about the beautiful tree being taken..people can be so horrible. exactly why i don't tell where i get my photo captures or gear i use..
Well done Adam on a great video, this would have taken a while to put together. Your passion for landscape photography is indeed infectious.
Thanks, it did. Painful when CZcams then murders it.
Another great episode pal
Thanks mate
Hi Adam - I'm relatively new to photography and enjoy your content. I wanted to add my support for your policy of not naming exact locations. I live just outside a West Yorkshire town and moderate a FB Group with around 900 members who have an interest in the flora and fauna of the valley were we live. A few years ago a black fox was seen in the valley and this was discussed on the group. I received a message within a few hours of the first post to say that the sighting was already being discussed on a hunting forum. Since then we avoid giving exact locations of wildlife or fungi or flowers to preserve the area and the residents.
I must get back to the UK... Cheers from Texas Adam.
Thanks Robert
Some excellent locations there Adam. I’ve walked the Cleveland Way and absolutely loved the North York Moors and coastline. I’ve never been there with the camera though. I’ll definitely doing that before the year is out so thanks for a timely reminder. The Peaks is my local area and as beautiful as it is, it also suffers from a popularity problem, particularly at heather season!
Yes. I've spent my fair share of hours on those edges waiting for people to leave. Basically given up on sunset times and mainly try for the quieter sunrises.
Great video Adam. Your comments about those who never went outside, and are now omnipresent in less trodden places, must be a worldwide phenomenon. I live 4500 miles SW of you and noticed this condition about the same time you alluded to. Seems the only thing that keeps them at home is Texas summers when it's 40C or winters when it is < -5C. Love your work. Cheers.
Ha ha, thanks John and Happy Thanksgiving. Must get over to Texas at some point.
Great video
Thanks!
Really inspiring Adam. Though I don't live in England and though I do not know whether I can go there in my lifetime or not, this video I found to be very inspiring. ❤❤
The same thing happened here in the States. Indoor people could no longer be indoors during the pandemic and were forced to go outside. Now so many places are overrun with indoor people that don't know how to respect the outdoors.
Ha. I like the term "indoor people". It's a proper good insult.
@Firstmanphotography I travel all over and I've also had the feeling that everywhere (including cities) seems to be more intensly busy recently. Hopefully the "indoor people" get tired soon and return indoor
To be brutally honest, living in Australia I was wondering if there would be anything interesting in this video. However, I'm so glad I watched it. Incredibly inspirational What are you doing next November?👍
Thanks Kevin, you coming over here?
@@FirstmanphotographyAfter watching your video I'm really inspired to make the trip. (originally from Staffordshire so need to get back again soon!)
Aw man.... you guys with scenery are killing me LOL 🙂 I'm in downtown Dullsville (Louisiana, USA) so it's basically ~300 to 1,000 miles in any direction for good subject matter. Beautiful places you've shown nonetheless!
We hiked Hadrian's Wall a week after the famous sycamore tree was cut down, and people were just broken up over it...angry, sad, bewildered...the whole gamut. Baffling behaviour by those who did it.
Those who say "it's just a tree" fail to comprehend the deep sense of meaning nature can hold for many of us.
How the hell did Wales get missed off the list??? It is a mini Scotland and for that reason makes it less over-whelming, more manageable plus the hiking and sheer variety of landscapes are equal (if not better) than many on this list.
This deliberate snub of 🏴 🏴 will not be taken lying down……. 😂😂
Ha ha. Lucky I didn't make a Top 10 list, then you would have been really mad!! 😉
@@Firstmanphotography my only response can be another “top 5” vlog of my own……… a ha…..
Of course the Moors is number one....hopefully the secret doesn't get out too much 😅
I've shouted about it numerous times. Doesnt seem to make a difference......so we're all good!
Right that’s it the house is on the market and I’ve started packing…..
Excellent, give me a call when you arrive!!
Im from the north east so i know you cant beat your number one choice and Northumberland isnfantastic aswell 😊
Absolutely. If I lived closer I’d be there a lot.
and maybe all those people evading the Lake district have grabbed a camera and went out there to shoot landscapes....... from watching your videos, lol
You are right. Don't share your locations. Your work is wonderful and you owe no one any information about how you create your photos. Protect nature at all costs.
