Hello James! The Atlas looks really. I like the combination of the angular/edgy handle and curve of the blade. I don’t have large hands but will appreciate the larger handle, hate that insecure feeling when a handle is a touch too short. Ordered a PVD black micarta one, can’t wait for it to arrive!
Another Twisted for the collection, affordable too. But the aftermarket scales are adding up - I’m still waiting for CF on the Mini Dundee, Bar-Keep, and now the Atlas as well!
Looks good! You forgot to do the comparison to the junzi tho🤦🏻♂️🤔😪🤷🏻♂️😂 Still need to do my abalone scales for the junzi, got some spare for the dundee i got a couple of weeks ago,and now it looks like I'm going to have to get+make some more.....👀😑🤷🏻♂️😂💜
@@makaveliuk86 aye I did, I had kids in the paddling pool fighting at the time, if you listen closely you can hear the gits in the background 😆 oh well an excuse for another vid I guess 🤷🤣
@@BeastAvenger the index finger still fits in there fine when you choke up more detail or heavier work. I've never really considered a half stop to possess any safety benefits 🤔 it won't stop or impede the blade in any way if it's about to close on you.
@@_justaaxedude7074 Hi, I'd describe the Junzi as a light pull, as is the Atlas, however the ergonomics on the thumb stud are slightly different, so this may influence the experience. I'd still describe the Atlas pull strength as light though. Hope this helps! J
Swish bro 👍🏻 Excellent that you are bringing out copper and brass scales. Need that in my life! Haha 👊🏻🐲💜🖤

@@retrostu1 haha yes you don't want to be X2 behind! 🤣
BUZZING........... 😎
Shame there is no full size finger choil like the Junzi, especially when there is no half stop either. 😕

I agree. No finger choil and no half stop is a bit dodgy. I much prefer having those.
Heya James, I was wondering what you would say the pull strength on the atlas is compared to the junzi?

What’s the blade thickness compared to the junzi?
@@_justaaxedude7074 the Atlas is fractionally thinner at the spine, the Junzi is 3mm, the Atlas is 2.8mm finished thickness.
