Tbh, he's kind of a psycho. While he's not OTT like Kefka is, Sephiroth is one of the few FF villains who is certifiably insane (broke in the head when he realised he was a genetic experiment and sparked a combined Oedipus/God complex, mistakenly thinking he was the last Cetra (ironically he kills the true last Cetra)), as such even the other villains find him unpredictable.
The only villain that seems to like him is The Emperor. I mean they are literally finding the summons for themselves just like Terra and ZiDane. Then again The Emperor is a master am predicting moves and outcomes so maybe that is why he likes seph’s company
Sephiroth was attempting to pull a similar move on Bartz that he did on Aerith but Cloud wasn't going to stand around and witness that again.

Neutral Neutrality I understand and to be fair many of the new va’s are actually really good at playing in the spirit of the original but adding their own spin to it. Sephiroth’s was just off to me. It was more creepy but not nearly as intimidating or tragic.

He put all of his emotions into Crisis Core and he sounded terrible there. That scream at the end was the most cringe worthy thing ever. So glad they got someone else for the Remake; though, I played with Japanese audio because they are superior VA's. Well, maybe not for Don Corneo, Mark Hamill is always best. ;)

There's something about Sephiroth's original voice that is completely incomparable to anything else I've ever heard. I can hear the technique used to make his voice sound even deeper- there's kind of a growl added to it. It's just [chef's kiss] flawless, it sounds powerful, dangerous. Goddamn I miss Newbern.
I still can't believe that at a point in time, it was agreed upon that every final fantasy character proposed for the dissidia games would be able to fly...
The Cloud and Sephiroth voices I wish we got in the FF7 Remake. Don’t get me wrong the new voices are not bad... But I grew up with these two 🙃🙃🙃

It does confuse me why Cloud is always matched up with Sephiroth. I know they have a connection and deep history but Cloud is not Sephiroth's physical match. Sephiroth was pushed the furthest he has ever been pushed during the fight in Advent Children (because he uses two hands to fight Cloud) but he's still holding back so much that he's at least another tier or two above Cloud in terms of skill. He just toys with him. Cloud is probably the second strongest or third strongest in the FF7 universe at the end of Dirge but I feel like Sephiroth is always just humoring him or amused by him :P
It’s his pride, he never uses real effort because he believes deep inside that no one deserves this kind of effort, in addition to the desire of not letting cloud find peace in death before knowing true despair.

Yeah the game plays more like gundam versus with no RPG leveling changing equipment or moves etc

Why is the dash speed still so slow? I had to restart 012 on my emulator and rock bottom speeds aren't nearly this slow.
Why does cloud seem so nice in this game
This is Cloud after Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus, where his mind is at ease. Feeling guilt free and forgiven. He's no longer angry and depressed.

High Quality Truffle It isn't a full canon game but this Cloud is post Advent Children Cloud for sure. All characters save for Noctis have already gone through their journeys from the games that they came from. That's why they act a lot differently than they did in Dissidia 1 and Dissidia 012.
