Awesome straightforward video. Thanks.
thanks for the video
Funny belts at my Yamaha dealer are really good price. My apex has a Carlisle on it. I have to measure all my belts this year and adjust the clutches. So adding washers tightens the secondary as belt wears right? Your videos are great
On the style of clutch on the Mountain Max and RX-1 the washers tighten the clutch for worn belt. I am not certain but if I recall correctly on the Phazer the washers which are different ind inside the clutch loosen it for newer belt.
any chance you know where to get the 1/4 or 1/3 turn hex heads that are on the other side of the machine? I thought they were the same as the 1/4turn snaps on the clutch side but theyre a little deeper and seem to turn a bit further.

Please do a video on installing a tether on one of these phazers
Tethers are a great safety feature to have whether it be for boats or any other toy. I have looked around and found several options out there but not yet found an OEM option. Here is a link that shows one way to make it work: ty4stroke.com/threads/my-tether-install.97610/ If I can find an OEM choice I would definitely make a video.
@@MiloFarms I was doing some work on my phazer and I noticed my secondary clutch was moving in and out is that normal because it looks like it moved a little in your video
@@wideopenriding Yes that is normal. Yamahas have a floating secondary so they move in and out slightly to help line themselves up. Once they are loaded under power they wont move.
