    Their music is so emotional!!!
They do take you on a journey.......a journey of memory, of times and places, of moments and feelings, of longings and desires.
They have this ability to capture a second in time and turn it into a lifetime.
They are one of my all time favourite bands.

Dave Gilmour performed a version of this song at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago. It has an extended acoustic solo at the end that makes me cry every time I hear it. Worth checking out. It’s utterly beautiful.

Here is the link for David Gilmour's "High Hopes" (Live at Gdansk, Poland). It has the extended acoustic segment that was missing in the Pulse performance you reacted to recently. Definitely worth another reaction to this version. The acoustic guitar follows the slide guitar and may bring tears as it is so beautiful!

Really cool to see your appreciation for this. I saw Pink Floyd on this Pulse tour with 47,000 fans at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Had 18th row seats on the floor. As I'm sure other comments have mentioned you should check out "Comfortably Numb" from this Pulse tour. David Gilmour's guitar solo in that performance is masterfully crafted. Again, great to see your appreciation for this!!

And this is after just one Pink Floyd song with a host of emotive, moving ,trippy ,bluesy, funky tunes just waiting for you, it would be really cool to see you take in more from a band that won't be surpassed even though they broke apart by 1984. Enjoy the journey!

You might laugh, but I started listening to Floyd when I was a mere 9 yrs old. It was 1973 and Dark Side of the Moon was all the rage with the older crowd. I hear Money and heard them say the word "bullshit". I was stunned, being 9 yrs old, never thought one could swear in a song. Had to know more. So i saved my funds and rode my bike to the store and bought Dark Side and snuck it in the house so mom wouldn't see it...thinking she knew about the curse word...lol. got to my room, put it on with headphones of course so mom wouldn't hear it...i had no idea what I was in for. Speak to Me didnt even finish and I stopped the album. Put in a blank 8-track and started over to begin recording it. To this day that original release album has only been played twice...that time to record on 8-track and then later to cassette. I currently have all their albums in original sealed released state (except Momentary Lapse). Seen them their last 3 tours (1980 Wall tour, 1987 Momentary tour n 1994 Division Bell tour, which us this video). I never get tired of them. They are my go to after or during a tough day and they ALWAYS bring me to my happy place where the rest of the world doesn't bother me.

Nice choice. Good to get a perspective on the way the song was meant to be. Interesting, everytime they did this it was slightly different, but each version was beautiful in it's own way. There is a version where David plays the acoustic guitar after the slide guitar and it brings me to tears everytime
Very hard to beat David Gilmore's voice. Marco is good but not that good

So this one does have a copyright claim on it, but it's green. Red CR claim means the whole song has to be cut out. Yellow means I can still have the video in some countries (for example, the one I posted of Shinedown is ONLY visible in Japan while the one from Evanescence is only visible in USA). Green means that I can share the video worldwide. Any level of copyright means you can't monetize it ($ goes to copyright owner).
