- Hey Horse Lovers! In today's video we will be doing some Horse Training. MUSHU my beautiful Gypsy Vanner will be introduced to ground driving for the first time today. Mushu is a registered, imported Gypsy Vanner from England. He is Hermit Cob (bloodlines) and comes from a fantastic place overseas. He is 3 coming 4 years old, 14hh, and he has not yet been started under saddle. I will be showing you how I go about introducing him to the driving lines and ground driving process. I will also give you some tips, tricks, and ideas when it comes to working with young horses and preparing them for their first ride. It will be interesting to see how Mushu reacts to ground driving and how he does during this training session. After this we will work towards our first actual ride under saddle!

I know this happened a while ago but it was precious! When he did so good and you praised him ai had tears in my eyes! At the end when he was with Kyle I thought that was so cute and then when you called him that was great too! He’s such a good boy!!❤️😀🐎

He is such a sweet boy. His attitude is perfect; Unspoilt except for kisses and treats obviously! You are doing a great job keeping it fun for him. I think he will enjoy being ridden too because of how close he will feel to you, and of course he's seen all the big boys being ridden so it's something to aspire to maybe? Lots to learn for him though.
I can't imagine how you will let that boy go to someone else. I know you've got your business plan but he's a big dog. Too sweet, too cute, too loving to ever part with. ❤

Hello from Australia. I think your horses are reacting to your body language and voice, both are kind and respectful. Plus the just hanging out time you spend with them lets them build their confidence in you. I would be surprised if any horse didn't eventually warm to you.
It is such a joy watching and listening to you train your horses. Thank you so much for truly engaging with your animals, seeing them as individuals, being patient and kind with them, watching and listening to them. Our animals talk non-verbally as well as making sounds to let you know of their needs.

Of all the horses, Mushu is my favorite. I have always preferred short stocky horses. My Quarter horse was 14 h stocky filly. My Polish Arab was 14 h but a lighter build. I miss them both.

Ground driving is not just about training to drive, it’s something you do before riding then, but yes I will want to drive him someday!!! 💖
@@freespiritequestrian yes I'm well aware of "ground work" and all it in tales, but I could see all the "extra" you were doing....as in pulling a cart or what not 👍. I also used to do ground work A LOT, even some, on horses I rode everyday, especially if they were fresh. Everyone knows Shae, you are not one to cut any corners, that's one thing that makes you the best at what you do 💜. Mushu is just progressing by leaps and bounds, it's so exciting to see, can't wait until you start him under saddle, I've already seen you throw a leg over, but you know what I mean.... Ride him 😉.
