This is a proper upgrade from the Pewter Metallic WS6 we all knew and loved. Don't worry, there will always be an F-Body on the channel.
Nice car. In my mechanic career. I worked at Pontiac dealers for many years till the division went away. Miss that division in GM.
That brand is a unique piece of Americana. I think it'll remain that forever.
Absolutely gorgeous, definitely an upgrade!!
I feel it's an excellent upgrade
That place is too cool might have to make the trip this summer
It's worth the trip if you aren't far
Love Tennessee, and no you have the same car as me 2002 CETA. This channel just keeps getting better.
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Used to go to Dale hollow lake when I was a kid lol
I have the exact same car love it always get a lot of attention when I take it out
They are very unique cars
You are probably aware and converted, but be aware of your insurance when towing a car. Auto insurance doesn't always cover damage when being towed, and a lot of people don't have insurance on trailers. Georgia Tech got in a situation like ramblin reck years ago.
Awesome car, glad you’re getting a bucket list car in the CETA, the 30th TA was always my bucket 4th gen and got lucky back in 2020 to find one in my price range! Looking forward to the upcoming content
That's great! I think the 30th/CETA are great bucket list F-Body cars for Pontiac. Both are really cool
I live about a half hour from Berger Chevy I grew up seeing all the original Berger cars show up. We used to go weekly to check out that weeks cars.
That's really cool. They made some interesting cars over the years, and are rightfully synonymous with GM Performance.
That dude's collection makes my hardtop SS ownership humble now lol
It's a tough act to follow 😆
Ohhh man!! Can’t wait for the build on the new transam !!
Here from Socal Fbodys page congratulations on the new TA
Thanks dude, appreciate you checking in 👍👍
Such a great guy, met Chris a few years ago at Pontiacs in pigeon forge(if you've never been you absolutely have to go we all go every year) and everytime we get together he is just so awesome and respectful and has very beautiful cars.
My assessment would be the same. He and his family are wonderful people, and he did mention going to Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge. That's something I'd like to do.
I don’t remember the magazines but there were a couple that rated the 2002 Pontiac Trans Am the best all around car ever made. Definitely my favorite models.
I would agree that the '02 WS6 cars are the pinnacle for late model f-bodies.
Dennis Collins shared the same sentiment when buying the red, low mile WS6 car with the LS6 engine he found.
@@Greenlightfilming all I can say is that I sure miss my WS6 TA. I had the full Eibach Suspension, UMI Subframe, front end kit. The original engine was pulled and kept with the car and an fully built LS2 Stroked 427 with a procharger installed in its place. Oddly enough I only ever had it on the track a few times. It was setup for street and basically for my pleasure and to embarrass a mustang or Corvette on occasions lol.
Congratulations on a great TA! I need to travel to Brydstown now
I'd go back without hesitation. The entire surrounding area is amazing
Awesome purchase!!! What a great place to pick up a car and being it's only a couple hours from where I live I will have to take my Fbody down there and get a pic in front of that mural as well.
I used to see all the specialty cars every year at an all Fbody car show in Atlanta, Ga on memorial weekend. Met Tom Henry a few times there along with all the big GM guys that worked on the Camaro platform. I really miss that car show cause it was more like a family reunion every year lol.
That's really cool. Those shows would have been awesome to go to as an F-Body fan. We really don't have anything like that where I live
Outstanding!
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice ride man, congrats
Thanks buddy
Congratulations on the New Ride! Looks Great!!!
Thanks dude. Been watching your fbody stuff for years now
@GreenLightFilming Been slow on fbody stuff around here lately
@@TWAMotorsports definitely slow with the F-body content Travis. 😂
This was awesome! What a cool place thank you!
Lots more to come from the trip. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had.
@GreenLightFilming fantastic! Working remotely running Optical Fibre & other Communications cabling. Curious as to what the differences are between Australia and the US. Keen to see what other video's you have.
Again dude I hate that I missed you! Love your new ride!
Next time. I plan on being back down there again
Perfect upgrade! You're absolutely correct about the CETA WS6 and 35th ss LE!
The GMMG collection is the holy grail for the F-Body
Agreed. GMMG cars are the pinnacle of F-Body collections
Awesome car!
It truly is a good car.
Love the color yellow on a car. I have a yellow 2010 Copo Camaro! 💪
That's outstanding. You never see a COPO in person
Congrats from a Corvette Guy!
That's a great honor! Thanks dude lol
I love the CETA, IMO nice upgrade from your old TA. Best part is all the docs and original parts.
I completely agree 🤘
The only models I've been impressed with are the fwd birds, fire hawks, and some of the ws-6 variations.
Love the old gas station.
The gas station was rad. I'm glad he guided us there to check it out
Love it! I’d prefer a clean heads cam car as well!
It's an excellent way to go for a driver. I still want a procharger kit on one of these bad.
Now that is a collection 😳
No kidding lol
Seeing that 30th makes me miss mine, sold in 2021 with 10k miles
Photos don't do the 30th cars justice. They are very good-looking in person.
We went to a car show and ended up parked a couple of cars down from a northern 30th. What are the odds? lol.
I had a 98 and 02 WS6's ....always wanted a 30th TA and the orange 97 LT4SS car (and still do lol)
Love it. I had faith….
🤘🤘🤘
Love the new TA 👍
Me too
Very, very nice sir!
Thanks Bob
@@Greenlightfilming Hopefully one day I can see it with my hoopty lol
Beautiful car! Congratulations ! Can you please post a video with all the mods? Mostly interested in suspension as I heard you say the car rides smoothly and not harsh on the bumps. My car is on Koni’s and lowering springs and I hate the ride quality.
I think part 2 has a full run down on the car after I got it home. It's ok stock springs/shocks and only has the normal stuff like SFC/LCA/PHB upgrades.
@@Greenlightfilming ah ok still on stock springs! Car sits really nice for stock. I’ve been on Koni/Strano’s for years now and hate the ride more and more. The bumps can be brutal! I was thinking of Hotchkis springs which claim only an inch drop but sportier ride than OEM.
Man I live in Kentucky wish I could’ve met you and let you see my Camaro😂
Next time 🤘
Wow
🤘🤘
Great car, which number CETA is it? When I got mine it only had the drivers manual and Dyno card. It took a year to find the ACS#, retro window sticker from Pontiac society, CETA letters and paperwork. It is a fun rabbit hole to fall into. LS1Tech is where I found most of the fun stuff out about my car, excellent site for research and info. Your new car sounds really mean, enjoy!
So, I have already reached out the Marcus from ASC and haven't heard anything back on which number this car is as of yet.
So far, I have the entirety of the CETA package it came with down to the dyno card, tire inflator etc. It came with a binder of documentation from the two prior owners too, including both window stickers.
I even have the original title for the car, and 100% of the stock parts.
What rearend is used in these upgraded 4th gens?
They came with the same 10 bolt that everything else came with
How much you pay for the trans am??
Every car is meant to be driven. I hate seeing cars sit. It does way more harm than good. Doesnt have to be daily driven but put some miles on them. Especially these performance cars. Romp on them, just take care of them and have fun with them. It does suck living in the rust belt with cars like this because of fhe brine and salt crap they use.
Does he have any social media accounts? I own a 2001 Trans Am Firehawk with 7242 original miles on it
Yes, check out the video description. Their Instagram is fbodylobbyplus
Thank god you went with another 4 gen bird. I was starting to think you went full Bud Light on us!!
😆😆😆 never
Why is he selling his collection?
He's not. Just this car
