Thanks, Nigel. I will be using that for my maggot solid bags. I love mugga Hooks. They don't come out. Only ever had 1 hook pull on a mugga. It's was a 40, tho. 😢
yes, this rig can be fish with a running lead system. Although you might be better putting the lead in the top of the bag of maggots and have the the hook link coming out of the top of the bag and then nicking it into the pva mesh.
Hi. Never really tried maggots. One thing i do know is that they do have a habit of crawling away, those in the bag. Would you use dead ones along with live ones in the bag?
Hi Ray, thanks for the message. Try dropping a small bag of maggots in the edge and you might be surprised how little they crawl away. We hope this helps!

Got to this video late. Great video nonetheless. Use a maggot feeder and "buncher" mostly but this is a great alternative. Thanks. ATB.
Very nice

Do you fish it on a slack or a tight line?

@@gardnertackle Cheers Nigel.
I don't mind that, especially when fishing them in large solid bags. They make larger, less scary baiting erea. Unline a lump of pellets. Or casters
