I watched Brett’s Midas sponsored vhs over and over as a kid, the talent and the great attitude, I loved it. He didn’t care what anyone thought, truly inspirational. Snipe show too

The nicest person I ever met. He signed autographs for kids at the rink for an hour straight. Thank you Brett for what you have done.

Got his kindness from his dad, not his mom.

Brett’s forearms, wrists, and hands are just like his father’s. His mannerisms are like his father’s too. I had the good fortune of meeting my childhood idol, several years ago. We were alone for a couple of minutes at an NHL oldtimers game. I told him when I was growing up playing street hockey, I pretended I wore his number and that I pretended I was him. He shook my hand and thanked me. His handshake was like a vice grip. His name was Bobby Hull.
I will treasure the memory of chatting with him and shaking his hand forever.

Read my comment above. Very nice to my family. His wife, very rude to us. Arms crossed and scowling. Never forget how rude she was.

Brett would watch the goalie shift his weight when they would set up in the crease. If the goalie would put more weight on his left skate he would shoot the puck on his left side. Smartest hockey player I’ve seen. He had the best release in my opinion of any player ever.

The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. He got his kindness from his dad. He knows his mom was rude.

My younger brother played hockey with Brett in ‘72, the year that they won the Quebec Peewee Tournament and I took in one of their practices. I admire his honesty regarding that time, I concluded that he was the laziest player I had ever seen on a pair of skates in my entire life - possibly even to this day. However, he could drive a slap shot from Centre ice as a 12 year old that was still rising when it hit the cross bar - bar down into the net. I was four years older at the time, I never saw anyone do that even at 16 years of age but him doing it at 12 was truly astounding. Naturally, I concluded that he would never amount to anything in the NHL. This is the example that I like to give people about why I never became an NHL scout as I came to this laughable conclusion on a young, future hall of famer. I could not be happier for Brett, I had an uncle that played with Bobby Hull when they won the Stanley Cup in 1961. Knowing that my uncle played in the NHL gave me all I needed to enjoy hockey for my whole life and I still do, I never felt the pressure that my cousin must have that same way. It is hard to fully appreciate the pressure that Brett would have been under as a child who is the son of Bobby Hull. I could not be happier for Brett’s successful career in the NHL, and I am truly sorry for the loss of his GREAT Dad…

I think you meant the '77 Quebec Pee Wee tournament. Brett was only 7 or 8 in' 72.

Bobby Hull was so awesome to my family and me. Welcoming us into his home. His wife, however, certainly was not. Sitting at the far end of the dinner table, arms crossed, and scowling. Never forget how rude she was to us. Thank you Bobby, and Blake, for being so kind to some kind farm people.
