    Great video. Thanks for making these. Respect and appreciate you leaving the mistakes in. I'm a beginner and I have a tendency to get frustrated and chase perfection, but I've been telling myself that mistakes happen and its all about how you deal with it. Nice to a see a pro make mistakes and still make it look sick in the end.

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  Před 6 lety

      Kenn Maxx Pinstriping is almost impossible to film overhead. The action requires the person to hover over the panel almost completely covering the work being done, not to mention glare. I've tried a few different angles. This one seems to work out the best. I wish it was easier to film

  • @vickiegorman8363
    @vickiegorman8363 Před 6 lety +1

    Me again with a question do you find it easier working flat or vertical and does standing make any difference? I have only pulled thirty or forty lines and it seems I started out the gate great, but tried later at home with a new unprepared brush and it’s all over. Hoping brush prep will at least help?

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  Před 6 lety

      Vickie Gorman flat surface is always easier for me. But you need to practice all sides and angles

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  Před 6 lety

      Vickie Gorman you will only see progress every few months, after hundreds of lines.

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  Před 6 lety +2

      roledog77 I heard that you can use Rust-Oleum. But I would suggest you just get a small can or two of one shot lettering enamel. When you first start out you're going to have a lot of confusion and doubt as to why things may not be going correctly. Having the correct tools will at least keep that doubt at Bay. My favorite place to order from online is Blick art. Or eBay.... $50 should get you started easily

    How do you calculate your charge for the job?

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  Před 3 lety +2

      It's difficult to say to Be honest. For me it depends on what type of work they want done, how much is involved. I don't have any set dollar amount for any set anything really. I just weigh out the situation and go from there. (This is a lifetime craft/hobby for me, not my full time job)
      So I turn down a lotta work if its not something I wanna do.

    • @villapinstriping
