Perfection exists.
This should have 100000x more views (if only worthy things became viral!)
This was their encore when I flew to Boston from Kansas City to see them in Rockport, Mass Nov. '18....it was electricccccccc.......!!!!
I agree
Thank you, I appreciate the quality, spirit and impact of your music upon folks such as myself. From western Kansas, USA.
I heard this gig first performed by the Bryggen Bruges Strings. That was mind blowing. This is even more astonishing. Unbelievable. Goose bumps!
The first violinist of DSQ, Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, wrote this piece
Absolutely brilliant.
this is pure bliss
This is beautiful
Heard this on Classical MPR this morning and wanted to hear it again. Thanks to BR-KLASSIK!
Your welcome! :)
My always "turn to tune " in the middle of the night when things get shaky in order to dance of all the tension and I listen to it at least 10 times in a row... loving how you guys uphold the tension in the live situation... well equiped and wonderfully sensitive playing... next time you play in vienna i hopefully won't miss it again! The mix between classical and folkloric voicing is perfeclty set and quite touching... admire your work!
*WOW, very cool! I could watch this all day! Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!*
Marvellous! ❤
Worthy things can not became viral, they are too good to be viral. That is the way this world is sadly running...
Beautiful! Thx for sharing!!
I'm truly astonished that 2 people disliked this!
Bravi!!
Beautiful!
They are all so talented, but when the second violin is playing the same note rhythmically, that is really hard.
Exactly. He is (for me) the most brilliant.
sheet music!!!!!!
One unhappy downvoter was hoping for four pastries
I love their music. This piece is, to my taste, particularly beautiful. However, next time, can someone please put a carpet or something underneath their shoes? They are counting with their feet - especially at the beginning of the piece - and the microphones captured every single tap with excruciating definition. It was incredibly distracting.
Foot tapping is pretty standard in folk music -- I think it adds to the ambiance actually. There is a video of them performing "Waltz after Lasse" and at one point they all audibly tap the 3-1 waltz rhythm and I think it added something special to the performance.
@@michaelfvt oh absolutely. In some circumstances I think it also adds to the performance. In this one, imo, it disrupted the piece and didn't make it as enjoyable to me. But to each his/her own ofc.
It's percussion. And dance. And folk music is never distorted or distracted by either.
@@patriciahill1101 And I understand that point. The only thing I said was that, to me, the foot tapping did not make it as enjoyable as it could've been without it.
