last time when I checked it was way better than Gonsalo on every aspect of gun handling and other stats but actually in game it was worse than Caliban. So it’s fixed now? They had on the website he and hesh as well.
Game is dying and fast. Only a blind cant see it. Played few weeks in Oct Nov. Played during all times of day, in both EU servers. I rarely saw purple or blue players. And even green players like myself were rare in the MM. Few years ago when the game was in a decent place these sort of players could be seen at least once in a few battles. Now they are inexistent. Good players have left the game and are not returning. Only wallet whales, and sub average players are left. And I suspect that a large nr of the accounts are bots used to inflate server numbers. Some of these are from boosting companies, some - conspiracy here! - I think are from WG, but unmarked bots, they inflate server numbers with these.

Imagine going back even a couple years and telling people a tier 8 heavy would be released with a 160mm gun, 280mm pen 800dmg he rounds, 10 deg depression, crazy frontal armor, and rocket boosters.

@@celchronicles 225 pen is the best pen back in those days. Caernarvon had the highest non-premium pen which was the 20pdr before. This thing kills the T-32 and T-34.
I should fix the pen number but they'll probably buff it eventually anyway
This game went from being historically accurate to adding in tanks that are straight up science fiction. This tank should be in a one off mini game, not in the random queue.
Miss the old days still only have and play the historic vehicles hellcat is my favorite but nowadays I get destroyed every game so I only play couple games then quit lol

true, I still remember when the E-100 with the fat gun had only 235 mm of penetration. Now there is a heavy tank at tier 8 with comparable penetration but higher alpha. Absolutely ridicolous. This tank is pure p2w. I really hope this is not the future of future premium tanks.

like most good tanks only have two of these three (maus has decent firepower and good survivability but no mobility) and then they slap all 3 onto a tier 8 fucking premium tank

You cant get this Tank anymore anyways. It was only available during 2022 Loot Boxes. They never sold it again after that. I dont think they will ever sell it again because of how Broken it is.
@@fleezy1579 I can guarantee you WG will sell it in some sort of 'limited special offer' available for like a day or two. Of course you won't be able to purchase it for gold, it will be only available in an expensive package with some gold and consumables.

yuuppp, just came back to play, if you are not playing T5-7, this game is not even remotely fun right now. T9s have to fight T10s back to back and T10 is full of muppets since the newer players now all have T10s and plenty of creds to burn.
Fun fact: You can still sharp turn during a jet boost by using hand brake (space bar on PC). It’s like drifting where your almighty BZ-176 just “skrrr” its fat butt around the corner followed by a boost start.

Just to clarify 50.8mm on that section of the Conqueror's roof is accurate IIRC, its 2 inches of armor, thus 25.4mm x 2. In Warthunder for example its thickness is '51mm' which is simply 50.8 rounded up. Wargaming didn't make that up (at least).
Also the fire chance is 12%, but Chinese tanks tend to have low module HP, thus higher chance for fuel tank or ammo rack damage, and fires or detonations.
I've definitely noticed that low module health. Every hit I take hits the fuel tank or the ammo rack

This tank is the latest example of WG struggling to balance a tank with a new mechanic, which is understandable to an extent. However, if they refuse to nerf premium tanks then why don’t they introduce new mechanics with tech tree tanks (which can be nerfed if necessary) and release premiums with those mechanics afterwards?

You know its a fantasy but i wish i could just turn off mm with premium tanks so i could play against tanks from tech tree and zero premium tanks. Amazing feature but it will never happen

Everybody wants the new mechanic now so they know they'll make more money if they sell the first tank with that mechanic before anyone has a chance to actually see if they like it. Looking at you M-IV-Y 👀

Been playing some today and last night, and this tank broke the game. They are basically one shotting any T7 they are up against and T8 armor on any medium or light cant bounce their gun and are basically a two shot.
With +2 mm this thing can see tier 6... WG are on drugs

Got into a game with 6 of these on the enemy team. Fun times.
If you were to show this tank to WG when WoT was first released in 2010/2011 and ask them at what tier this tank would be, they'd definitely say it is at tier X. But reality is that this tank is at tier X. Powercreep is over 9000
Something that should be mentioned is that the jet boosters can get you up slopes that no other tank could traverse making it incredible at appearing in weird locations. Best example I've seen is on Outpost in the North "town" area. The BZ can boost up the slope from below into the alleyway of the West side.

It's almost as if Wargaming doesn't test these things with any degree of rigor before throwing them into the game.
What upsets me even more is they thought the kranvan was too good at doing exactly that but yet it’s only to make a tank that could go 40 up slope at tier 8 and punch for 800 damage with the same pen…
@@nightsounds8366 WG didnt nerf the Kran because it was op, but a mainly because it was played by almost everybody. WG has no problem with leavin OP tanks in the game, hence they create new OP lines. The problem is that once the majority has researched a certain line, WG doesnt get more money from it, so they nerf it, or they buff another tank line which isnt played/researched by lots of players... So the players constantly grind or spend gold to free exp it...
I log in to the game once every month or so. I play my T95 and chill with a cup of coffee. I scratch my head over the new broken tanks that has been added. Italian TDs with insane ridgline performance, EBRs still running around spotting everything and now this beheemoth. Awh well, there is always that "quit to desktop" button. Dubble klick Minecraft and all is well again. 🥰
It never should have been like this, WG failed its playerbase and no other company will step up to the plate and create any kind of competition
WG is my favorite company and their absolute mess of the games to prove me and my friends that games should not be f2p, because it like pay to win without excuses and then farming 20h copper in valheim feel less like a boring task.
This tank feels more like tier 11 than tier 10.
And in fact it is tier 8 🤷♂️
Had a platoon of two of these come at me...face on...in my T6 Jackson...but I was bushed, so...while I was unable to pen them (which I discovered rather quickly)...I did keep both of them tracked so others could flank them...one of them was able to apply its booster...and then boosted right on past me... allowing me to get the kill shot🙂
Would've been fine if it was a glass cannon where it would have no armor but has the damage and boost mechanic
No heavy tank should have such gun, if you take into consideration how much do tanks like isu 152 sacrifice for such alpha damage...
O-I has had more alpha at tier 6 for years.

The O-I is slow as hell, easy to flank, and it's armor is absolute garbage. T6s tds regularly have 200+ pen because they have to fight T8s. The O-I is an XP piñata.
You missed that the rockets also push you through the air. So you can jump over some rocks for rams that you used to not be able to & stuff.
I returned to World of Tanks just when this tank was released. I was grinding my KV-4 along with my friend who also hasnt played in years, and you can imagine how fun this was for us, every game had multiple BZ's and we were taking up the heavy tank slots in non BZ tanks so yeah..
I returned just recently and rarely see a Bz, though then again I don't play anything above tier 7 so maybe I'm just very lucky.

That new BZ should have been a tier ix. If you dont have armor it derps the sh.t out of you and if you have armor it overmatches you anyway. Plus, it has great armor and its gun handling is much more that acceptible for that kind of caliber. And as if these were not enough, it has f.king rockets on its back! It is outright better than the tier ix chinese premium heavy tank they sold earlier... I don't know what WG is trying to do.
I took one look at this thing and knew that it has the stats of a T9 tank, not a T8 tank. This thing is F'in stupid and the WR shows it.
Neither does wargaming- they don't know what they are trying to do - that's why people should not work when they are on all manner of drugs know to man
It's like the T-56. I'm sure it was going to be T9 and they nerfed the mobility and pen (same in the case of the Skoda) and made it a T8 instead leaving the other T9 stats in place.

Tanks like ISU152K become obsolete by the release of the BZ - and that's not only for that high caliber gun premiums...that armor combined with thegun just makes it the best premium in the game imo

Totally true bro. I still play this, but grinding lines is so painful becuase of these broken and OP prems. I am currently grinding the IS-4 (I am currently with the ST-I) and It will be my last grind, is horrendous playing stock tanks nowadays. Believe me, you made the right call bro, now is World of Premium Tanks (after the grind, I will only play my few prems or my tier Xs)

The BZ isn't that broken. If it can shoot you, you can shoot it back. It's a good tank for sure but you can do something against it easily.
I would like to point out that, historically, the Caliban was designed with a 160 mm gun, instead of the 6" one we got in the game (because WeeGee couldn't be assed to model it at the time). Not only that, but it was also supposed to fire HESH rounds, just like the BZ-176 does.
Quite honestly, if I had bought the Caliban when it came out, I'd feel insulted.
Caliban at least has 600alpha AP rounds worth firing (300+ pen!) And the HE does do 850 a shot. Also the two round clip I think makes the Caliban still a worthwhile option, although it needs a tonnn of equipment to help it's gun handling
I like them both the caliban is hilarious and the BZ is fun caliban has a much higher pen on its AP round and it's he is the low cost round so I find caliban to be a much better credit earner.
BZ is pretty much doomed if it sees armor it can't pen with 208 normalized angle(AP) or 225 flat(he)
All of this said the bz is still hilarious.

@@azi2gbz 176 is very very very best than caliban...and can fight vs tier 9 and 10 heavy, as have 160mm gun can shoot solid armor with 208 225 pen beacuse have a high caliber

Great review. I bought my annual small batch of loot crates (just 12 this time) and got this tank. Now I get to go fall in some noob traps.
I noticed that the view points are broken. I was in my type 59 spot the BZ at probably 150 meters over a ridge. Then he backs up waits till he's unspotted then kills me with out me spotting him. And there's no bushes, he was using the ridge with his depression. Never spotted him even after he killed me. This happened twice
This is going to be the new Type 59. Matches are flooded with it already.
Well it's new, of course matches are flooded with it... personally I see the Iron Arnie still being played 6 months later while the others will be forgotten. I could be wrong, but I have more fun in the Iron Arnie than any other new tank. Obj 283 could be the exception too, I didn't have the chance to try it yet.
Once Xmas is over they'll be rarer, as nobody will be able to afford the premium HE rounds.

Skoda T definitely is still the best, that 3.5 second clip is crazy good (and this thing takes like 2.8 seconds to aim down to .48 anyways lol so it's not much faster). Also it's worse for credit making, especially with gold rounds.

Regular player experience, when getting hit by three enemy BZs in quick succession: "F*** this game, I'm done."
Everyone thought the vipera was pretty op but this thing has a fully traversable turret, better mobility and better armor at only the cost of the pen and dps. The vipera and bz176 have comparable pen for both standard and gold pen. Just op all around.
This tank not only has the same premium HE pen as the BZ-75, but also has the same AP alpha as the BZ-75 with a 160mm gun instead of the BZ-75's 152mm gun.
id just like to say that even tho it says it has .46m acc that round goes down the center fairly often compared to some other deryp guns imo

So got this thing today and its VERY strong, definitely the new best T8 heavy if not best T8 period. Within 10 games Ive already got an Ace and upset my personal best for most damage in a game. Made it onto the fill on Cliff and managed almost 7.6k damage. Honestly its only downside is its reload if people all in you or if you get stuck against higher tier tanks and you cant get side shots on them.

@ 15:40 same logic for why I use Aiming Device on the Czech & Italian heavy tanks. If you can't hit your aimed shots, then DPM/burst damage means nothing.

WG had stooped into new lows by releasing completely broken tank. This tank clearly should had been Tier 9. If Wargamming will not balance premium vehicles and will not do a big overhaul to entire pay to win economy, this game is running on fumes and I recommend people to start looking for others games to play. OP premium tanks and BS premium ammunition is the biggest thing which kills my desire to play this game at the moment. This tank just had raised bar for all other tanks and only select few vehicles are even good enough to be competitive against this nonsense.

You might think people would use AP to take advantage of the overmatch mechanics, but no, all the gold zombies I've seen don't press anything other than the 2 key
Why bother pressing anything other than 2 though, the rest of the tank plays itself why shouldn't the ammunition? Fuck it. At this point they should just allow aimbotting at this point. Not like it would do much anymore.
Outrageous is the word. I got one in the Christmas boxes. Played it a few times and sold it. It is the most OP tank I have ever played.

How you selled the great bz 176?, bad decision man
I got BiZarre-176 but can't really make it work so well yet. Its accuracy aiming time is so bad I decided to drop rammer in place of vertical stabilizer. It's reload time is so long even with rammer you always have to hide between shots, it's not a tank which will use its DPM anyway. I think aiming device gives too low bonus compared to v-stab and I won't equip both as vents + turbo are too important.
We played some tier 8 skirms with 6 of these bad boys. We won every engagement. Probably one of the more fun tanks to play, even against other BZ-176s.
The best thing to do when playing against this tank is AVOID IT! Let your teammates fight it and maybe get a few lucky shots in and wear it down some before you end up having to fight it!

I got the BZ on my 1ST box lol, before you say FU i have tried to get tanks every year with boxes and this was the first year I did.
It’s kinda pain to play in world of tanks while first days of a new patch, especially Christmas event which involves many new overpowered tanks every year.
How is this not PayToWin? Isn't this like the type 4/5 back in the day when you load good shells you have better pen and more alpha? Pay to do more damage and have more pen.
because there are many drawbacks to the tank, once people learn to play against it then it will be a lot worse
it's not really p2w, huge alpha yes but you need to know weak points to pen, rocket boost fast yes but on average you are slower than fast heavys like skoda, and in a bz vs bz situation ap is actually the shell that can do damage by overmatch the turret roof.
It is p2w. QB today is again streaming another game because he understands it this game is going to collapse soon.
It's basically an alternative to the Skoda T, although I think that tank is still better than the BZ. But yeah the gold HE is OP, in fact it has the same pen as the Chinese tech tree TIER 10 180mm GUN

Wow. I havent played the game in a few years. Just coming back the other day and facing tanks like this and the caiban. Wow, seems like every tank today has crazy alpha damage.
I'm still learning the game, needed som gold, credits, rss and wot premium days so I bought 80 boxes and got this one and the AMBT, and this beast was really fun to play💣

This tank is the very epitome of pay-2-win...
Watching those replays one could think that this is some kinda fun-mode where every gets to play this tank and derps around.... but no, reality is different, p2w different...
And seeing how many of those tanks are on the battlefield, shows how many players have bought lootboxes, which in turn again means, that Lootboxes are gonna happen more often in which new content is hidden.
Unless you buy lootboxes because of the gold (since it is good value for the money), you are the reason why lootboxes and micro-transactions have become the de-facto standard in the gaming industry. With that you have lost the right to ever complain about lootboxes again, since u literally bought some urself. So thx to every player who bought those lootboxes for making everything in the gaming industry worse.
It feels like it has what was once the ridiculous gun handling of the Skoda 56 where it hits every single shot. Meanwhile techtree tanks with 0.3 accuracy misses at 100m. Soon as a new lootbox tank is available this gun will experience the Skoda 56 treatment.

I just came back to this game after a 3 year break, first thing I see is this thing that I can't pen and which did 700 alpha to me with AP.
Speed, armour and massive one shot damage potential, sounds balanced to me WG.
Yes like everything else it will be surpassed by the next OP tank and everyone will move on, but let’s be honest, at the moment it is OP and ruining every game it appears in.

Against a KV3, I hit for close to 800, caught him on fire for another chunk of HP, then I hit the rockets and rammed him to finish him off--all in about 5 seconds.
I got this tank after opening exactly.... 1 box. Yes. The FIRST large box I opened had this baby in it, my new Derp Daddy.

it is an insane tank, most matches i see these things do 4-5k dmg. occasionaly ill see these tanks lose but thats usualy pilot error

You can actually steer when boosting. Just let off gas and turn without pressing forward

I'm pretty upset that not only does this tank have the same HE pen as the tier 10 Chinese heavy (with only 200 less alpha), but it's AP is THE SAME ALPHA as the tier 10 and has them both on the same gun! The tier 10 will honestly be worse than this tank without a doubt if they don't adjust it before release. Otherwise you either get an HE option with a useless 75mm pen standard HE (it should be 90 for a 180mm gun lol) or a 650 alpha gun that is arguably the worst 150+mm gun in the game (also the small gun actually gets 90mm of HE pen!)
Honestly I'm really disappointed that WG released this. It hits HE pen is too high. The fact that it can pen the frontal plate of most tier 8 heavy tanks (except the heaviest of the Germans) is completely broken if you ask me. For example if I'm playing my IS3 then a platoon of 2 BZs can drive around the corner and end my game with no counter. It has 3 strengths... pen, damage, and armor. One of them needs to be nerfed to make it balanced.

Millimeters is a metric measurement Caliber is a scale in 1/100th of an inch they do not mean the same things and are not interchangeable. 122mm is 4.8 inches caliber is generally only used in measuring less than an inch.
This tank is just yet another example of the greed and incompetency of wargaming. A tier 8 with incredible armor, decent mobility (cuz of boosters) an insane gun with 850 or 650 alpha, 10 degrees of gun depression and good viewrange. The powercreep in this game is just ridiculous wargaming is running this game into the ground with all those toxic brainless tanks.
A tier IV should be able to slow it down providing the tank didn't use all its boosts. You can't armor those rockets very much. A mechanics idea: If you lose 1 side and then boost on the other side, you lose stability for going forward.
Next year's Tier 8 premium tank will be a laser cannon hover tank with energy shield. To get it all you'll have to do is gamble 1- maybe 2000 $-s on christmas lootboxes

Just ran into one of these on my E75. I couldn't believe the armor or damage on this thing.
I opened 48 boxes and got the AMBT, the Iron Arnie and the BZ-176 ....I probably should feel lucky, but I only play Arty and didn't get the Bat Chat skin... :/
So a tier 8 is doing more damage than nearly all my tier 10 TD ‘s !!! And reloads faster to what a joke why bother playing now and can’t imagine there’s to many happy players now unless you own one off these tanks , well done war gaming

I see this tank as public test, if they will add this kind of tech-tree, and to actually balance tech-tree that is coming in, if it's coming at all.
But what does that matter when this thing is still here, ruining games from t6 to t10. And because of how good it is its going to be flooding matchmaking until the tank with wings and lasers comes out next year. And let's think about the tech tree it would introduce, if it follows the trend of every other release then you'll see a slightly worse version of this in t8 then a horrifically STRONGER version of it in t9 and a mediocre improvement in t10. Now tell me, with how strong this tank already is at t8 what on earth do you think a t10 is going too look like.

Here's a fun way to make it less op. When boosting it accelerates no matter what. You go forward for the whole 10sec. And if it gets set on fire it sets off the rockets. Still op but imo better

My E-75 just got chewed up by one of these in a city brawl. It's insane, it's like fighting a t10. Tree tanks are so bad now -and researching a tree takes a lot of time and money.
And bz have more armor than t10 jaja
THey shoulda got the LT432 designers to design the turret/gun trunnions, then it could have 10deg depression and still have a flat roof - no need to pivot the gun up and create a weak point.
the stupid thing is, the shells are expensive, but when you pen enemy tanks you still have profit
And this and similar pay to win tanks are the reason why I stopped playing my beloved WoT in November 2018 .... and although I feel like playing WoT from time to time, I look and see lootboxes and pay to win tanks and mechanics again and the desire passes ...
I remember when the type 5 had such p2w rounds. 1400 damage and better pen than standard for some crazy price
Superpershing and t-34-3 had been my favourit tanks, so that I could avoid t10 goldspamming statpadders. But now I will face the bz all the time.. no thank you. It was a fun jouney

@@fuksoup well considering anything can oneshot anything I would say the odds are better in war thunder lol. I have been playing WoT since 2011 but the powercrept premiums and equipment seriously changed the game. When switching to war thunder in 2020 I never looked back.
