I've watched the dub so many times and I didn't realise that, I thought Omega just skipped to 30 million, either because he was lazy or because he had the capability to count all of the sand real fast but purposefully dragged it out.

I love how they accidentally formed a perfect comic trio. Shadow leads the action, Omega blindly follows, Rouge complains but is powerless to stop it. Textbook comedy that was completely improvised.

I am astonished as to how Alfred doesn't succumb to laughter like the rest of the cast. It's hilarious how while everyone's laughing and Rouge is complaining, Omega is still counting in the background.
However, I am still convinced that Chase is the best part of this dub and I'd love to see you animate the "Gamer Pad" scene where Mephiles, Silver, and Blaze are all talking.

Oh, now there's a thought: Sonic and the gang are all playing themselves in a rather poorly written movie (except Eggman is played by someone else, hence why he looks so different). I like this idea.
I LOVE Shadow's expressions reflecting Ryan cracking up holy shit. Rouge is fantastic ofc. I would love a whole vid of this entire thing in this style, it captures the humor perfectly.

Whenever someone breaks character in these things, like when they say something OOC, or if they begin corpsing (when they start laughing while they're in character) I like to imagine that it's their character saying it
Also the serious face Turing into a grin holding back laughter was a small but amazing detail

The Next Scene Is literally them walking into the ancient tomb room thingy and they confront Memphis Tennessee, they interrupt him and Shadow asks Omega to count the number of grains of sand in the room when the villain was about to say an entire speech. Absolute Legend!
The fact that Ryan's giggling was included as Shadow's laugh animation while his voice cracks to Ryan's normal voice implies that Shadow is also deepening his voice to sound edgy
Omega's voice actor must have the straightest face ever to be able to count to 30 without laughing

What makes it worse, the reason rouge was going insane is because bats have really good hearing and she would have to listen to that robotic, monotone and loud voice for at least 19 years

God I love the way the camera just slowly zooms in on Omega
Shadow's laughter was actually super fitting.
It's not hard to get me to laugh, but to get me to laugh uncontrollably and cry from laughing so hard is something I rarely do, and this part from the fandub absolutely KILLED ME, especially later on when Shadow had Omega do it again.
I like to believe that the laughter in the background is entirely in shadows head, makes it way funnier that way
Okay- I can’t remember if I’ve commented, but these expressions and transitions between them just enhanced this scene so much. This is still the best animation of that audio I’ve seen.
