Ford Ranger Wildtrak -vs- Heartbreak Hill : PART 3

In Part 3 we are taking on the brutal Heartbreak Hill at Klein Tafelberg 4x4 and camping site. They have some amazing routes with very exciting obstacles, so we could put the different vehicles through their paces properly.
We've had the opportunity to test the new Ford Ranger Wildtrak against 4x Merc G-Wagons, 2x of our Prado 120 V6's, an Isuzu 3.0 D-Tec and also an old Jeep 2.7 CRD in Part 2, so be sure to not miss that video if you haven't watched it already.
For the overseas viewers, you will not be familiar with the Toyota Prado 120 series, in other countries they are known as the Lexus GX470.

Is the land cruiser on 4 high or low ?

With that kind of incline we are in 4 low. Basically always 4 low when in thick sand, otherwise the gearbox runs too hot.
