- What would FFXIV Endwalker's Theme sound like if it was an Anime Opening?
I teamed up with a few friends and we wrote our own take of what the music could sound like, and what an anime OP video would look like!
Here's the result of our combined efforts over the span of a few months of work!

All in all this project was a blast and a dream to make!
It was also very much out of my comfort zone, so it was a huge effort and humbling learning experience that showed me how much I still have to learn, but man, what an honor to do this with the guys. They've all been incredible throughout the whole process, hope you enjoyed the song as much as we enjoyed creating it!
I was just about to comment asking if we could get the lyric video on it's own as well to complete the collection, brilliant work as always, I hope Soken and Yoshi P see this soon!

My thoughts on the second verse.
Before Endwalker: Yeah, that is pretty cheesy. But it sounds really epic!
After Endwalker: I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING! WHY DOES THIS PERFECTLY FIT WITH THE CONTEXT OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS THE ENDWALKER STORY?! YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE!
I based the lyrics from the point of view of our WoL going into Endwalker, basically the opposite of what you see in the song To the Edge. I was worried they'd be too cheesy but your delivery on them hit so hard! I loved everything about working on this!
Denmo and Alex collaboration is most unexpected one, but welcome one nonetheless, good job

This opening is missing one thing... a voice over at the end saying "Kono bangumi wa goran no suponsaa no teikyou de okurishimasu", with logos for Garlond Ironworks and Meol on screen.

Despite trying to, I really didn't find the lyrics to be that cheesy. It was honestly a perfect way to write up our journey up until now into lyrics for a song. You guys absolutely killed it on this. Soken will be proud!!

Not only am I a studying sound engineer/music producer, but I also have been playing FFXIV for years and have fallen madly in love with every aspect of this game and its impact on the MMO world. Incredible work, you guys. As a longtime fan of the series, the amount of references to different songs of not only FFXIV but of the series as a whole was so incredible. As a composer, the level of detail and incredible composition and skill of delivery was inspiring. And as a fan of FFXIV who has been truly moved by the story and anxiously anticipating Endwalker, the way this song culminated the journey so far and set the stage for the expansion actually brought me to tears. All of you are amazingly talented and I can't thank you enough for the outstanding song you've shared with all of us. Keep up the incredible work!
