Guilty pleasure as a 67 year old retired teacher..playing Minecraft and watching Hermitcraft, all the Limited Life series, well lots really. Watching Minecraft helps me play Minecraft better and I find it so relaxing and creative.
55 here, also into Minecraft, and Minecraft CZcamsrs, especially Hermits! Main game addiction used to be World of Warcraft. I'm leaning into becoming daft old cat lady, but then my main friends group are nerds from my World of Warcraft guild! It's hard to explain to people who aren't into gaming! :D
Sixty-two and I won't play others because I didn't grow up with computer games. Pong doesn't count.

I'm a 48 year old happily married guy with 2 kids and I love Minecraft.
Almost 50 with a wife and two kids. Fortunately, they love Minecraft and Hermitcraft so I got some cover. Hate that people think it’s kids game!

I’m 57 and I have the same guilty pleasure! Seems like the magic of MCYT is ageless.
That's awesome I'm only 26 but I used to feel weird saying I played it or that I loved to watch people old enough to be my Parent playing it, but now I don't care and I don't try and hide it and usually if someone asks me my hobbies playing and watching Minecraft is one of the first things I mention.
45 in a couple months and yeah, I love watching all the Hermits play.
I would love for Gem to be a guest on the show, she has been such a great addition to the phasmo group and I think it would be great to hear her story.

But I love pickles I'll eat them plain, drink the juice from the jar, I put it on hamburgers, sandwiches, Chicken, pork, a bunch of stuff pickles are some of my favorite food and I used to hate mustard as a kid but I love it now though just small amounts

When I like a content creator it gets REAL. But I’ve done it so much that it’s not guilty anymore it’s just how I am. I’ve seen all of Grians HC hundreds of times and I’ve watched all of impulses old among us and phasmo vods at least 50 times a piece as well. Also there’s one tango stream I can’t stay away from and I was so happy when Grian mentioned it when he was making the dragon egg hunt for Zed. THE MILKSOG STREAM GOD

I totally feel you Impulse with the eyebrow thing. When I started plucking my eyebrows my family had no idea why I was doing it or how to stop me. It got to the point where my right eyebrow was gone and to this day that’s why I have my hair parted the way it is so my hair can fall over my eyebrow in case it ever gets too bad. Eventually, after half a decade of dealing with this, I heard of the disorder of tichtillimania, which is the compulsion to pull out body hair, and I realized that the reason I was plucking my eyebrows was out of stress and the relaxation I got whenever a hair came loose. Once I realized that, I got myself a fidget ring for my right hand so whenever I needed to act in the compulsion, I could instead fiddle with the ring on my finger, and writhing just a few months, I didn’t even need the ring anymore to handle the compulsions.

A family guilty please is watching all of the Hermitcraft Videos. To the point our 5 year old knows everyone by voice and name. But out side of us everyone can not understand how amazing the Hermits and the community are. That being said, thank you both for everything you do!

• Kid's shows (Curious George, Rescue Bots, Kipper the Dog)
• Animal movies (I love a good talking dog and cat falling in love story)
• Bad Horse Movies (These are painful, especially after I started riding, yet I still watch them)
Skizz's poker obsession is relatable for me because I do the same thing with CZcamsrs, including you guys. I'm currently struggling with “Decked Out II backseat gaming”.

My guilty pleasure as a 29yo bearded and burly male tradesman who atleast APPEARS to be tough and serious (if you know me, I'm not that at all), is watching SpongeBob and LOVING IT. It's no wonder then why I chose my gamertag, PatrickCrafts, and my skin, the 'giga-Patrick' (which I'm so happy Skizz loved and told me to never change 😂❤️)
SpongeBob is goated! I was watching it for weeks until my wife finally started getting annoyed by it. (She tells me I can watch it but then complains that it's too loud whenever I do watch it 😅)
As a 36 year old man with a couple of kids, I got the little Einsteins reference, but my guilty pleasure is absolutely loving the Aqua, Barbie girl song.
Is that the cool one where it sings "Hey your a Mermaid" then later it says flip "Hey your a surfer" or visa versa? I love that song. Lots of those Barbie songs are so cool! I love "You can tell she a Princes" The Barbie movies and Dreamhouse series are guilty pleasures for me.
Everyone has their guilty pleasures, I’m sure this podcast is great
A knights tale is incredible. My whole family has loved it and have watched it countless times. But it must be one of those that you either love or hate, because I remember my uncle turned it off during the opening "we will rock you" scene. He said it was stupid

I’ll be real with y’all, probably my biggest guilty pleasure is watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Reading that aloud I, a very young man, feel insane, but that is one of the most well-developed shows I’ve ever watched. Being older now since last watching seasons 1-7, there’s so much depth, humor, music, and maturity that it showcases, and this is supposed to be a kids show targeted to little girls! Yet my whole family have had really in-depth conversations concerning the show, and I gotta continue to commend that team for putting their all into such a should-be-straightforward kids show

One of my guilty CZcams pleasures are music and movie reactions. Like when people who have only listened to rap their whole life gets introduced to Queen or Metallica, or when someone watches the the Shawshank Redemption or Titanic for the first time, and things like that. I think that what's so appealing about those kinds of videos is about the same as the reason why you guys love to introduce new people to Phasmophobia. You can only experience something you love for the first time once. The closest you can come to that feeling is watching someone else experience it for the first time and watch them getting as hooked as you once did.

I too share a father who drove cross country for a living growing up, my album of choice that trip was the spaghetti incident. And admittedly it does the same thing. I've since come to the determination that when added to a memory, music creates an experience. While memories fade, and memories are great, but when adding music it creates an experience. We relive experiences.
My guilty pleasure is a little difficult to describe. I love just watching guys be friends with each other and hang out. That’s why hermitcraft, the life series, these podcasts, and phasmo are so addicting: I get to see good friends enjoy each other’s company 😂🤷♀️
46:17 Honestly, until recently, I never understood why people loved Minecraft so much (I watched someone play it eons ago and got bored quickly). But then I stumbled into Hermitcraft and quickly understood how powerful it was as a creative outlet and, if you use servers, as a “third place,” which are hard to come by nowadays.
I love learning and forming lore of Minecraft. It is a horror game marketed as a family game. As new mobs or biomes etc. are added the lore changes and connecting it all together makes it interesting to me
My guilty pleasure is I love B-rated movies and schlok a lot more than many blockbuster movies. One movie I really like is here on youtube called The Exigency. It was a one person project of over 15 years made in poser.
A Knight’s Tale is absolutely *fantastic*. It’s my family’s favorite movie and the adaptation of the Canterbury Tales is chefs kiss.
I mean yeah I get the modern music turn off, but the reasoning how that’s how it would sound to a medieval audience is genius. Plus it aged so well.

So for me I love ranch for almost everything as well. So back in high school my friends said since you like ranch so much why not dip your peanut butter and jelly Smuckers Uncrustable in it, so I did and I ended up loving it and here I am 33 years old now and still do it from time to time and my co workers think I'm the weirdest person for it.
"Bring in awe of someone doing well at something" i have found that i am drawn to people who have passion for something. A good example is mumbos second channel...when he gets to talkong about gear and light colors...i dont know alot of what hes talking about but his passion draws me in! I absolutely love to see passion in people!

Guilty pleasure, awkward to say, is putting on the among us steams. With all the different viewpoints, there’s plenty for me to just put one on in the background as I work. It’s a guilty pleasure because technically I could be listening to the vast amount of educational podcasts/audiobooks I have downloaded, but you guys make me laugh
My guilty pleasure is watching Moana even when my daughter isn’t around…
i love moana. i know all the songs. i have a moana towel. and Frozen.... (though i've never seen 2) but Coco and Encanto as well. i watch them, i cry with the characters, i laugh, i refuse to watch htem with my neice and nephew cause they wont sit still and enjoy them with me...

I also love watching the Cutting Edge. And shredded cheese on top of chips cooked in the microwave is how I always make nachos. My guilty pleasures are watching Say Yes to the Dress (even though my wedding dress was less than $500) and peanut butter sandwiches with Cheetos.
When I was younger and reading a lot I liked to drag my fingernails across the page. Thanks guys for doing this and sharing your experiences, it’s become a highlight for my week.

Weird coincidence, my husband said the same quote from A Knight's Tale not but 30 minutes before I started the podcast. He hasn't heard the podcast, but now he's heartbroken over Tango's opinion, too. It's one of his favorites as well.
I'd definitely consider watching Hermitcraft and other MCYT content a guilty pleasure at the age I'm at. Others include writing lore about my OCs (which I keep in a REALLY private document on my notes app) and clipping my toenails.

46:40 I am all too familiar with E-rated games being dismissed as being "for kids" as a longtime fan of both Minecraft and Splatoon. It's a shame since I believe both games have an incredible amount of depth and unique mechanics that I feel can't be found anywhere else.

Impulse I'm 100% with you. A Nights Tale is a masterpiece. One of my guilty pleasures is DEFINITELY fantasy movies. Doesn't matter what. Could be disney, or any other AAA budget film, good or bad. Take me awayyyy. I love fantasy. Extra points if its a really terrible romantic fantasy movie. Though on the disney thought, I was never into the cartoon movies they did. OH! better yet, I love live adaptation films. Like Ghost in the Shell or something. Maybe I just love VFX.

Honestly a ton of what I watch and do for fun is a bit of a guilty pleasure. Like playing Minecraft, watching hermitcraft, and even other kids movies and shows. I'm 27 years old, but most of my favorite content is technically made for kids.

At 70+ my guilty pleasure is Minecraft. Playing it, watching streamers & videos so I can learn more about it. It is truly a game for all those with imaginations. FPS take reflexes and a desire to conquer others. MC players need to have a good imagination to plan, gather materials and build. All while taking out mobs.
BTW, any more plans for N&S? LOVE that series.

I try not to feel guilty about things I enjoy. At least not on my own. It's more difficult to feel fine about something when sharing it with people who don't understand it. That being said I'd say my main "guilty pleasure" is fanfiction. Fanfic often gets stereotyped as being all explicit works which is untrue. That assumption makes it difficult to want to share that I enjoy fanfic for fear of people misunderstanding exactly what I mean. Fanfic can be any fanmade work based on / inspired by other media. I really enjoy how it allows imagination and continuation of stories. Think about your favorite movie. What other adventures do those characters go on once the movie is over? Well, there may be fanfic of just that! It's wonderful to me.

The bachelor and bachelorette are huge guilt pleasures of mine, when I was in college we had a group that would get together to watch and still now after college we have a group chat and will talk about new episodes. 😂
I don’t know if this counts as a guilty pleasure, but I’ve started using my college’s bouldering/climbing wall, and I’m addicted. Every time I leave with $2 less in my wallet, torn blisters on my hands, a smile on my face, and the feeling that I should get myself some climbing shoes. This was a fun topic for the podcast, I like it!
My list of quite British guilty pleasures.
1. Dunking digestive biscuits into Cream soda or Irn Bru
2. Eating raspberries crushed between rich tea biscuits
3. Mrs Brown's Boys (when the original Rory actor was in it)
4. Sand cutting ASMR vids
It's only a guilty pleasure if you feel guilty about. No one's taste is the same. What works for one just might not work for someone else. The variety of tastes is how we learn new things. The only 'wrong' is the ones not watching your podcasts. Love you guys! 😊

Skizz, I rewatch jersey shore at least once a year. One of my favorite shows. I grew up hating it because of having 3 older brothers but like.. it’s good 😭
I was listening to this podcast while working on a mechanical keyboard build and then I realized... mechanical keyboards are a guilty pleasure of mine. Imagine having to explain to your friends and family that keyboards are your hobby.
One of my guilty pleasures is never wearing socks when I don’t have to. I won’t wear them around the house or if I feel comfortable taking them off anywhere else but if I wear them for more than an hour the first thing I do when I get home is take them off
Starship Troopers. Any time I see this movie available, I have to watch it.
I read through all the books and watched all the movies of 50 Shades of Grey. Yess. I had physical copies and downloaded on audible for when my hands were busy lol I was obsessed!

Your podcast in particular is so interesting entertaining and inspiring. Whether it is talking about aspirations, motivations, fails and improvements or just interests you both open up these interesting conversations that I often replicate in social groups or with my husband.
As far as guilty pleasures go, if you thought any of your guilty pleasures were embarrassing I’ve got one that may top that.
For a more more embarrassing confession of my personal guilty pleasure is that I am a 25yo woman who started watching MLP (friendship is magic) at 21yo with my niece and I haven’t stopped since. My niece is now 10yo who has no interest in it and Ive watched all the episodes, movies and even downloaded a bunch of the comics. I also do fan art on it just for fun. So basically I am a Bro-ny. IYKYK.
You guys share so much if yourselves with us so thought I’d actually mention a guilty pleasure I’m pretty sure I’m supposed to ashamed of.

lol, my guilty pleasure is digging up every stray, behind-the-scenes, deleted OG script piece of canon I can get my hands on for Fairly OddParents... I've got oodles of high-def title card images, tons of Scribd scripts, know all the stupid secret deleted lore (affectionate), the episodes with deleted time travel, the "Imaginary Gary and Flappy Bob were once going to be the same person" plot twist, heard lots of podcasts, gotten super excited over an animation cell from an obscure deleted scene for a fight between the Head Pixie and Anti-Cosmo, and... actually, in a way, that's how I found you and your content! (Impulse). I was taking a break from digging up FOP stuff and so I went digging for my new interest (3rd Life / Last Life) to learn more about the series, and that's how I dug up your behind the scenes / "Let's talk about this" 3rd Life videos.
I really enjoyed hearing your perspective as a content creator; I'll have to go back and see if you ever did any of that for the other series. It's fun to hear the passion in your voice and learn the secret "lore" tidbits (magma blocks, Skizz side convos... it was your clock), etc. Idk. It's just rewarding to dig, and now I've come to know your content and it's fun and I hang around because the way you create it and talk about it is fun too.
I think I've seen all the perspectives for all the Life series apart from a couple stray videos (I even spent last week on all 12 hours of Bdubs LimLife

I've read a gay fanfic about Imp and Grian. It's the only fanfic I've ever read and it was phenomenal. I began reading at one in the morning. I stayed up until 4, to read it. Because I could not stop.

Only just got around to listening to this podcast, but glad I listened. I have some huge guilty pleasures - Survivor, Eurotrip, listening to Disney songs (current favourite is Someday from the movie Zombies).
But I must say Impluse talking about Little Einsteins, even though my kids are older now, I still sang the whole theme song for it.

Impulse, OMG we would get along so well! Minus the mustard, pickles and olives you and I are on the same wavelength! A knight's tale is a great movie, Phineas and Ferb is a fantastic cartoon. Ranch, I have to make it from the packet with mayo and milk with the hidden valley packet...but I use it on a lot too! My guilty pleasure is watching the Bachelor with my best friend! We love it, what can I say! Great podcast guys!

Honestly probably one of my top 3 guilty pleasures is your guy's Phasmo streams I have went back almost all the way to the first stream you guys have done and I just can't stop watching them I am so addicted. Also, I think we need to get Gem on the podcast!

A food guilty pleasure is I really love to put original Lays potato chips (has to be Lays) and cinnamon hard candies on my Peanut butter sandwiches, it's so good

My guilty pleasure is actually Hermitcraft. I'm almost 60 and my friends and family think I'm crazy because I watch everyone on the server as well as the life series and Imp and Skizz (of course) my oldest daughter watches with me sometime but I usually dont have anyone else to talk about it with. I was on a plane coming home from a convention the other day and I'm sitting next to a 30 year old young lady. I get out my phone and start watching people playing decked out 2. Girl looks at my phone "how cool! You watch Hermitcraft too!" We chatted about everyone we watch and it made my day. My other guilty pleasure is Kpop and Kdramas. I've been into them since 2012 and only recently do people know what they are.

As a 40 year old man (with 2 daughters) My guilty pleasures... Tinker bell, Decendents, and Highschool Musical. I will watch any of those with or without my daughters.
And there is no guilt in being a swifty. Her best songs are super deep but don't get radio time. She will be remembered with the likes of Elvis and and Elton John as one of the best Artists ever
56:23 Oh my gosh, I went to Arizona back in 2020 to see the Grand Canyon and I had Culver's and it was so good I was disappointed that it's pretty much exclusive to Arizona.
Also my guilty pleasure is listening and singing to Disney Music when I'm home alone 😂

@SamDapan-on3wn I listened to the podcast on Castbox, a podcast app and they get posted at like 1 in the morning. If I want to watch the podcast or make a comment, I'll go to the CZcams video
