I’m not crying, you’re crying! 😢

I haven't watched the whole podcast yet, but I have so so many ghost stories, not only from what i've witnessed but what those around me have witnessed. My best friend, and i have witnessed first hand, can see and feel things that most people can't see, so not just ghosts. When we were sharing a dorm apartment on the campus of our college, we had a cat. There were two bedrooms, but we shared a room and one of our friends had the other, but unfortunately they had to drop out, so it was empty. I technically didn't live there, i only stayed there because my bestie doesn't like being alone and because my cat was there. On one of the days before i had started basically living there, my friend was late for class and heard a voice telling them to hurry up. They had also been seeing a tall man lurking in the doorways n such. After further investigation, we learned that this fella wasn't a bad creature, and he was very passionate about school and learning, though he wasn't very good at it. We called him the tall guy, and he was like a roommate, basically. Now, as i said, we have a cat, and his name is Pickle, and I love him. As many probably know, cats are very good at seeing and feeling things we don't. Many times, we would see him react and look up like someone was bending down to pet him. One of my favorite times, my best friend and i were chilling in bed talking about the things we shared an apartment with, and pickle was chilling in the bathroom doorway. my friend said something like, "i think the tall guy is sad because he wants to pet pickle." and, ofc, i said he could. and right after i said that pickle looked up into the doorway, where we werent, and he looked offended and startled sitting there before eventually running off. that's just one of many many stories, though.

You probably wont see this because it’s an old video, but on the topic of some of the topics not relating to disabled people- I’ve felt that at times. Even so your podcasts have inspired me. They have also put me in a funk of “why cant i just do these things?” but when I met myself where I’m at and listened to some of the things you’ve said it has really helped me. For example: i was feeling bad about the “why cant I?” episode because i heard you and others doing incredible things that I really want to do but when I stopped and examined myself and where I’m at I realized that it’s okay to be disabled and i have to work one step at a time. because of that I was able to start my application for SSDI because i realized that if i kept pushing myself past my limits I wouldnt be able to keep going. It helped me realize that part of striving to be better is recognizing your limits and finding a way not to overcome them but to work with them. Thank you so much Imp and Skizz, this podcast means the world to me and has gotten me through a lot of bad disability days!

Awesome episode, Etho is a standout creator for sure. It's been great to hear all the amazing stories of how people got started on their content creation journeys. I don't know how to contact Impulse or Skizzleman, but if y'all are looking for more creators to be on the podcast, I'd happily throw my name in the hat. :) I'm not on Minecraft, but offer a great community on my channel about Monster Hunter and creating a great place for people to hang out and get a good laugh. It'd be great to get some time with you both and share stories for those looking to get into the content creation world in 2024!

I'm 50 years old and new to Minecraft (and gaming in general, really). And it is lovely to see older people streaming and just having the time of their life. But also great when there are younger peeps like Timmy who can have such fun with them too. I have so much CZcams material to watch (I am up to the start of Secret Life) and it is a JOY. Keep it up, my dudes (as Ren would say).

@36:00 When Impulse talk about Microsoft eventually (maybe) having either Java or Bedrock as the only version, so that they don't have to continue working on both: It heavily reminded me of Blacklight:Retribution, a very unique online shooter, that still often think off. They decided to merge the inferior PlayStation version with the PC version, effectively replacing the far superior PC version. Obviously they did the only logical thing, and straight up deleted the PC version's code. They really killed a great game out of laziness and bad management. I'm still mad...

With the issue of feeling like mega bases aren’t enough and the hermits feeling the need to go bigger, I feel like instead of going bigger working together is definitely key. I feel like a lot of hermitcraft watchers really enjoy seeing all the hermits interact and mess around (as a lot of s10 has been which has been super entertaining) and I think collaborations on bases would be super cool, much like what impulse is doing with the cyberpunk city. This way, you wouldn’t have to dedicate hours to grinding for resources for a giant giga build but instead work together on one big build, where you’re able to disperse the time and resources without getting too burnt out because you’re constantly working on this one project.

I always love hearing people talk about MCC so that last 20 minutes were very enjoyable. It would be cool to see Jojo on the podcast!

Etho taught me how to play Minecraft. I loved his early let’s plays like the first time he went to the nether. Still puts a smile on my face remembering his “fear” as he prepared to go through the portal.

Impulse, you are correct. It is pronounced 'nah roo toe', in Japan (and I deem this correct as it's the original). 'Nar roo toe' is the english version.

Can next guess be Jono or Gideon, With Jono it will be fun to find out how being Grumbot is and there creativity to build off ur content is so fun, Additionally you could inquire how being dependent on other youtubers content feels in making videos

Oh, yeah. Dragon's Lair. The video it played was on laserdisc, and I believe it used conventional cinematic cartoon animation of the time, by a former Disney animator. And yeah, it initially got attention for it's amazing 'graphics' compared to other games of the time, but the gameplay didn't really hold up over time. I imagine some people played repeatedly to try to see every sequence and ending it offered, much like with the Choose Your Own Adventure books. TBH, Minecraft Story Mode isn't all that different.

I always thought his skin was a snowboarder, but the ninja thing makes sense with the injured eye. (I've never watched Naruto. My anime consumption was back in the Speed Racer and Star Blazers days.)

I think you guys were spot on about what makes season 10 of hermitcraft feel special. I started following a few of the hermits back in 2020, but I lost interest and stopped watching a couple years ago, and I didnt know why. With season 10 though I gave it another shot and I’ve fallen back in love with it. I think a lot of that is due to the genuine friendships between you all, and how creative your builds are getting on smaller scales. The fact that you’re all having fun just really is shining through. Well done 👏

Fun Fact: When I was younger, I saw Tango, and his Minecraft character, and was scared of him. I saw his character design, especially the red eyes, and thought he was mean and I didn't want to watch him. Then, I sort of forgot about him until the 3rd Life when I was reintroduced to him through Scott Major's perspective I learned younger me was wrong, and now I can't get enough of him

Just watching this now!! Catching up on all these incredible podcasts. Just love what X said: The viewers are here for us, not really Minecraft. He could not be more right. We love the Hermits. The content and context are amazing. But we are here for the community and the team. One of my favorite podcasts. Thanks guys.

Imp & Skizz, I did not realize how much I needed your pod cast.. and I do doubt you'll see my comment, but I've been watching Hermitcraft for years and although that is it's own joy, full of imagination and wonderment, it's good to have some grounding. I appreciate you both.

Your mentality will determin so much of how your life turns out. If you are determined to lose, you will always lose. If you are determined to walk away from insurmountable odds feeling like you couldn't have given anything more, then you will learn you are capable of much more than you thought you were.

The old knight arcade game was called Dragon’s Lair. The game play was the worst, but the video quality was impressive at the time.
