I stop watching Corrie its just not the same and spoil it now with it being on more per week only so many stories one can have before it eventually gets repeated. Them too much like Stan and Hilda where brilliant couple. Along with Elsie Tanner, Albert Tacklock and later Blanche best drama you can find anywhere

Just realised some awful continuity there... As Vera's chasing Jack out of the living room, he appears to head upstairs, yet the immediate cut is to an external shot of the front door, which Jack of course bundles through. Was there an advert break between these two?
As he ran up stairs I think He was meant grab his jacket off the banister but forgot so they probably decided to fix it in editing but did not cut out the stair part soon enough.
it probably was not broadcast like we are watching it on here then, there was probably ad breaks or other scenes between running up stairs and going outside

This was a classic couple who had a love hate relationship. Arguably the best on Coronation Street ever.
I miss this kind of Corrie. Not the non stop violence, affairs and dragging on storylines.
but that's tv now-they want hard hitting fast moving paces-corrie of yesteryear just wouldn't survive now, all soaps now are the same really.
