Over the last 150 years, Loch Leven brown trout have been introduced to waters all over the world, from New Zealand to South America (and most places in between!). What better venue for round 2 of the KitKat Cup. Jock and I with the help of Alan Smith. We will be trying to find and catch some wild brown trout. Using straight line buzzer tactics while the wind is calm from a drifting boat.

These videos are such good crack I absolutely love them.
You lads really do a lot for fly fishing venues, it’s great you’ve been going to Scotland instead of just the southern reservoirs.
Can I humbly suggest you do the next Kitkat cup in a different region, put the spotlight in less visited fisheries.
My native north east has three absolute crackers. Sweethope Lough is an incredible boat venue. It’s the natural headwater for river Wansbeck and has large wild brown and hard fighting grown in rainbows in beautiful pine forest.
Second, Kielder water is fishing its socks of these days with huge rainbows . Vast water in beautiful Northumberland national park. Largest reservoir in Europe by water volume.
Third, catcleugh right in the borders. Tough wild venue fed by river rede stuffed with hard to catch wild trout .!
I learned to Loch Style fish on Sweethope, back when you had to row everywhere.....lol.
@@lindsayiflyfish Ah fantastic, glad to hear you know it. I have been fishing there a lot more recently, Its had a change of management and is fishing so well, just like its glory days. Its a glorious place to catch trout. And all the old methods work a treat there too.
Caught a nice 4 pound rainbow there on Monday on a March Brown wet pulled behind a Bibio. The fish must not have heard they'd gone out of fashion. :)

Fished it several times, never done well.
It’s a tough venue for sure but if you persevere the rewards can be amazing.
