absolutely love temple trips. Just back from Kerala temple trip. Mannarsala, Guruvyur, Padmanabh Swamy, Vishnumaya, Vadkumnathan, . I just scarped the surface. there are many more beautiful temples to explore in Kerala. 2 years ago I covered Udipi Mangalore temples. Temple trips are my ultimate "recharge " solution. Vadkumnathan temple is also a Shiva temple where the Shivling is covered in a mountain of ghee offered since centuries !! it is walkable distance from Trissur railway station. what is more mesmerizing is that the ancient Travancore style paintings still exist on the temple walls. These paintings are probably 100's of years old.

I finished 11 except kedarnath...u should visit Mallika Arjun and u missed nageshwar jyotirlinga near to somnath..and omkareshwar near to Mahakaleshwar...hope lord Shiva give u the blessings to visit his temples soon...c u roaming around in hiranandani....take care
