Short Film "Urban Tetris" | SOLID

One boy, one toy and one thousand blocks. Let the game begin!
The player starts a game of Tetris on his GameBoy only to realize that blocks are falling from the sky in reality. He must now do everything he can to win this game.
Urban Tetris is a tribute to the video game culture of the 90s, which was initially shaped by Nintendo. Nintendo was unparalleled in its ability to create simple but engaging concepts that guaranteed fun gameplay.
The short film also reflects the spirit of the 90s' youth, who, with their destructive force, would rather risk everything than submit to anyone.
Created at the Technical University of Innsbruck, the video is also an architectural critique of the monotonous blocks that dominate the suburbs' cityscape. It is a plea for a playful, bold architecture that values diversity over uniformity.

This was the first video I ever uploaded to CZcams. I had hopes it could do well, but the viewcount didn't rise very fast. With the short I uploaded it was quite the opposite. A few weeks ago I started remodeling the apartment I will be moving to, so I did not really pay attention to CZcams. Today I saw your comment and I was moved. Thank you for appreciating the work that went into this little piece. Besides work it was also a lot of fun shooting this video with my friends. Feel free, to show it to some friends of yours.
