It's astonishing how intimate her songs are. It's like she's opening her heart, taking all those emotions, putting them into words, wrapping them into a blanket of beautiful chords and tones and sounds, just to pass them over into your own heart. Ngl, Isolation's recording is one of the most beautiful images my eyes have witnessed, I suspect Elena is an angel sent down to earth to save many of us with her beautiful voice and music, she is so ethereal.
The first time I listened to this song a year ago I couldn’t believe I was already crying whilst figuring the lyrics out, then my heart felt full and whole as Elena’s voice filled the small cavity of it. One year later the story goes the same watching this session. This album is beautiful from beginning to end. You saved my life and I will always love you because everytime I listen to your music it’s like I can sing the stuff I don’t say and that’s a pretty beautiful way to grieve. Hope I can see you live one day.❤

I've been avoiding to rewatch a personal favourite film because it was also special to another person, and I managed to watch it last year. It was The secret life of words, by Isabel Coixet and leaded by Sarah Polley, and I was astonished at how incredibly well this song captures that film. It was a magical feeling to feel as if Isolation had somehow been composed for me to discover this little warm feeling inside ❤️🩹🎶
