- Hi my names Lucie Gauthier, Im 17 years old and i lived in Texas for 1 year as an exchange student, i have never thought i would get so attached to my town. Going on an exchange was one of the best decision of my life so far, I've learnt so much in a year it's crazy, I can't believe it's over. I thought leaving France was hard, well leaving America was way harder.
I have now a second family, they mean so much to me, and I will forever be their exchangedaughter.

This is the only exchange year video that made me tear up and im literally in class 😂 Im going on exchange year in the usa in august and im so exited but also scared because I know im going to make another life there which i´ll eventually have to leave forever at some point. how did it go??? i wanna go on an exchange year to the usa next year but im also scared about the fact that i have to leave it behind at some point :( even though i get to move there once i'm done with high school where i live.. i just wanna know how it went for you and if you think it was worth it!

Hi girl, I just saw this video and it's beautiful! I'm 14 and I have the ability to go to America but I'm really not sure because I'm scared of saying goodbye to my real family and how its gonna be the first days in america so I had a question: how was it for you? How were u feeling when u arrived?
This is just my personal thoughts, but don't go when you are 14. I would go when you're 16 or 17, so you're more experienced in life and more mature. Also, I doubt your parents would let you go to a complete different county for a year and live with strangers for a whole year, because currently my parents aren't letting me go when I'm 16 for that reason. Not saying yours won't let you, but I just personally think 14 isn't the right age to exchange

I would actually go there with the age of 15 but I wasn’t sure at all so I said no and now I’m not going but thank you for your advice and don’t worry, your English is fine, look at mine, I’m actually from Germany and I can’t even talk English but wanted to go to America. Anyways bye :)

Hi girl! I'm 16 years old and I'm in 1iere in a French Lycée. I had the project to leave France next year (mon année de term) but unfortunately, it was too expensive and we could not afford that. Besides my parents didn't want me to do a break between my 2 years of exams. This is still one of my goal number one. So j'ai quelques questions about ton échange :) First of all, est ce que tu es partie avec une organisation (genre EF) ou tu es patie en solo ? et deuxièmement je voulais savoir pendant quelle année scolaire francaise tu étais partie, si le retours au sysème francais était compliqué et comment s'est passé ton retour, si tu as du "redoubler" (pour rattraper l'année que t'avais perdue) etc.

Hi !! I left my home country with WEP and yes a 100% !!!!!!! They helped me through everything such a good organization trust me !
