It takes 20 years of work before one becomes an overnight success. I sure hope Alice Phobe Lou cuts that requirement by at least 75%. With her tours in Europe, Japan, Canada, and the USA, this young lady and her group of musicians are certainly paying their dues!
@Asunda Speed - You really cannot put APL's music into any specific category except to say that her music is quite original and creative! I'd call it intelligent music, but that's just me! - Let's hope that Alice is in the right place at the right time with her art and that history will be very kind to her. She is certainly doing her best to make that happen.

She was in San Francisco 5 or 6 months ago. Absolute great performance in small bar, maybe 150 peaple. She was selling cd in the back and looked really tired. After the performance the band loaded up into two vans and drove to Portland at 11:30 pm to perform The next day. I realized
