I'm a Virgo man but a nice one. I like a Cancer woman but you didn't tell us about her. I think it's a good pair because we seem to have similar personalities and temperament. I agree with your take.
Most astrology literature says this pairing is compatible, but from my observations of this coupling in life, that isn't the case. Especially with a Virgo man-Cancer woman relationship.
Virgo men want to be chased and will expect their partners to do all of the emotional investing while they never reciprocate. But if they receive the same cold treatment, they become pouty and snarky.
Because they're actually quite sensitive. And they hate themselves for it.
I think the only woman who is truly compatible with a Virgo man would be a Capricorn woman.
