Almost four years ago I moved to the US so I could keep touring and following my musical journey. Every day I miss my friends and family. I'm grateful that we are still able to maintain the closeness we have always shared but it's hard and it sometimes makes me question my decision, especially when I go home and get to feel the joy of having my loved ones close to me. One night after a visit back to Melbourne i was in LA and I couldn't sleep, thinking about everyone I missed and the people and places that are no longer around. I wrote this song and sent the demo to my closest friends. I'm proud to share this clip with you today of a song that captures this feeling perfectly for me. I'd love to hear what you think and if it resonates with you, or if you have experienced something similar.

@@ShelleySegal it's a hippy gathering, a bunch of hippies gather in national forests and do illicit substances and sing and play drums and other instrunesnts around a giant campfire. It's basically where all the real hippies went. There is allot of woo there but most of the people are genuinely awesome people who look out for each other. It's basically a traveling commune that goes around the world being an alternative to modern society. It has its flaws and like i said there is lots of woo, but it was a great point in my life. I got to travel around the country for free and had many great memories.

@@ShelleySegal it was one hell of an experience. Every day we would all go skinny dipping in the lake, during the night we would all dance around a campfire. It was the most free I have ever felt. It really helped me with my body image issues and my anxiety.
