    I knew where this was from the moment i read pit cooking and im looking forward to seeing his reactions
    Edit: honestly was looking forward for the food reaction plus the pit could've been dug deeper to make it easier but keep it more insulated

    At least the food cooks over an open flame in my culture my ancestors did cook like that this is how they cook the bison meat I am referring to the Native American people they even hunted the bison herd so they ate pamican made from choke cherries and bison meat that was cut into strips and hung up to dry out to make jerky
