    School desegregation did not work for me in 1971 because in racist JAX., FL it meant closing the AA schools, thus shutting down our culture, demoting our teachers and students and busing us to the poorest white schools
    with 2 bands and 2 everything under one roof. A horror story for my senior class! Hate it! !!

      Say that. School desegregation didn’t work for me either. And it was very traumatizing.
