Tech's death hit harder than I ever imagined it could be. He became a great character this season. I only pray that they dont bring him back Echo-style.

He was always driving that the squad doesn't leave their own behind. He knew they wouldn't chose to leave him. So he made that choice for them

Tech's character development in the second season really made the event so much more tragic. His potential relationship with Phee really confused me at first and now I understand it was meant to give his character more depth. Since the episode came out, I've been searching for a good adaptation of his story. Incredible work, my friend, as always!

In theory, Goggles is alive. Thrusters on his backpack, high intelligence, and clearly wanted alive by Hemlock for tests, he was either saved by a ship or he landed with his thrusters. (They are only landing thrusters because he’d fly in every episode otherwise.) If he didn’t survive, thats sad. Also, his comms could’ve broken during the impact so he couldn’t tell them he was fine.
So heartbreaking. He knew the only way was to sacrifice himself for the squad
Tfw. you realize, last season finale, the whole squad managed to make it out alive thanks to Crosshair grappling Azi & Omega. The same could not be said this season.
His death hit me so hard. I related to Tech the first moment I was introduced to him in clone wars. Someone who thinks in terms of logic every time and processes/views the world differently than most. What was worst is my older brother and I joke that we are tech and wrecker so seeing wrecker try to reach for him absolutely broke me cause I would do anything to keep my older brother safe. Anything.
Real asf. I relate to him as well, because of his skill set and honesty, along with him being the first canonically autistic character, as a person on the autism spectrum. So with him being willing to sacrifice himself for others.
I love that in the beginning, it shows each member’s lowest point except for Tech

You could say at the end we see tech fall to his lowest poing 💀
I never noticed the foreshadowing with Guerrera saying how "sacrifices must be made for the greater good"
Don't forget about the pirate girl to every relationship die in star wars history so if any character gets in a relationship then they are dead.
The only good relationship and survive is the farmer clone
I don’t know how this team will survive without Tech. He seems to be the one that always gets them out of the worse situations.

Tech acting more and more human each episode is what made it so good
Tech being himself while people think being himself is "unhuman" is what makes it so good for people like him.

The real hero is the one who knows countless lives are worth more than his own. The one who’d rather die than let those he loves fall with him. That’s the point of a hero, to keep those you love safe, and then let themselves take the fall. The sum of a hero, is someone who will let themselves go, if it saves a world or a family they care about. Not flashy weapons, or epic fashion style [which Tech has]. It’s being willing to give up.
This is one of the best compilations I've seen of a character. Thanks for the summary, i really liked going through his character.

Amazing edit! Tech was my favourite character from the start of season 1 and he really got some great character development in season 2. His death was such a heartbreaking moment. At least it was heroic and epic. Sacrificed himself for the squad. True chad

IDK, but Clone Wars and Bad Batch gives me chill the most comparing to everything else including movies or EP3 duel of fate's dialogue. My heart was touched a lot. And almost make/made me cry. When Clone Wars ended it felt so different. We all have those feelings, hoping all these shows to never end.

There is just that small feeling that makes me think hes alive
In theory we’d like to think he’s still alive because he was such a great character this season. But I feel if he did it would cheapen the sacrifice he made. Although I feel like the one hint we have that he might be alive is the fact that the scientist found his goggles which could be a hint that he survived.
I think that Tech did survive, because if he actually dies, Disney wouldn’t be able to sell merch with him) and Disney doesn’t wanna lose the money.
