I've had the 3 grate smaller version for 13 years. Only thing I did was replace the grates and warming rack after 10 years, otherwise rock solid. I did purchase some grill spray paint from home depot and repainted the outside. The charcoal pan was an easy fix, just put some bricks in there with those disposable aluminum trays on top and I dump the charcoal in there. Yeah. I'm cheap, but it still works!
Thanks from Spain for the analysis. Today I bought this barbecue, the 625 model which is a little smaller. I hope to put it to good use and make a good brisket;)
I have had a char grill like your first for 20 yrs. Needs a new ash pan but that’s it. Awesome griller but leaks if you want to smoke( for me).Great buy.😁
What's the black iron handle for its the only thing I don't understand, unless it's to lift out the grill plates? Never mind watching the video and it's the first thing you used 😂. Now I know....
Do you know what’s up with the cast iron grates? Mine seem like they are cast iron plated over just being fully cast iron, it’s got like a rough metal film over the grates that aren’t there over some spots.
I have the one on the left. Having a really hard time grilling jerk chicken. Doesn’t hold heat for long and it dries out the chicken for some reason. Ughhh
I picked this up today at target marked down to 90$ before tax. Glad to hear you had good things to say about it!

How did you fare with that 625? My birthday is coming in a few weeks and my wife wants to buy me a new one.
Just got this one for $100 at BJ's. Definitely a steal

What size grill did you get. I see there are 3 sizes. 24, 32, and 40
If you keep up with seasoning them and making sure you aren’t leaving it out in harsh winter conditions they will last you over a decade plus
Best bang for your buck I love mine

Bought a pellet grill Pit Boss about 4 months ago. I haven't used my charcoal grill since. Recommend!
I got one for 170 at homedepot today🤔
Wow 100$ in U.S 239€ in France 😭😭
390$ in Vietnam...
I got one for free...my neighbor left it on their driveway with a free label on it.
Nice! let the grilling begin!
Why not buy yourself a good one and the you don’t have to keep buying them?
they last 3+ years most that cost tons more last the same
The money your spending on this every time you buy another you could of spent that on a well good built one. Yoder smokers etc. Last you a life time
