Running QB with a Running game plan. Vick was a threat. If Vick had WR like Atlanta has has now have 3 WR that can go anywhere and play the WR #1 Role. Someone looked at a stat sheet and said, we gotta slow this nigga down. Look into his life and his past. Sure we can find something.

I don't think Seattle made a mistake with a pass. An unsuccessful run on 2nd down forces you to pass it on 3rd and 4th down. Lynch was not a great goal line rusher. The problem is the pick route Seattle wanted to go with, their wide receiver core was not built for that which is why Malcolm Butler easily jumped the route after recognizing the play. Seattle should've tried the goal line fade with Chris Matthews. Matthews had been the hot hand for that entire playoff run including 109 yards in that Super Bowl.
Hell, if Seattle ran the ball, they should've gone read option with Wilson carrying since New England bit on the Running Back on read option plays all season. Hell, Wilson had been successful twice carrying with the read option in that game.

RC was one heck of an exciting player. Thinking back on it, I consider myself fortunate to have seen him in his prime. Just phenomenal.
Him and Peyton Manning are my all time favorite players. I was such a huge fan of his growing up.
As a lifelong Eagles diehard, it was an absolute honor to watch the ultimate weapon. he did things on the field that i have never seen before and haven't seen since. he really was made of rubber.

He was easily my favorite Eagles growing up as a kid in South Philly, living 2 miles away from The Vet. The one thing I would have mentioned in this video is a large part of why Randall didn't have the success he could have in his prime were the offensive lines he had to play behind and the lack of a true offensive coordinator with the vision to use his talents. The Eagles had one of the worst lines in the league for many years. Ron Heller was dirty, but awful and a guy like Ron Solt was way past his prime. They struck out on every attempt to draft line (Antone Davis) and Randal was always running for his life. Buddy just thought Randall could "make a couple big plays" a game than rather bring in someone to use his talent.
That said, if Bryce Paup doesn't take out his knee in 1991, there is a different story to this as this was finally going to be the year the Eagles could win the Super Bowl. It's a shame, but that is how it goes sometimes. Mix in injuries and ego that helped the downfall as well to what should have been an all-time great. He is still an unreal talent that wowed me as a child and to this day I am still a fan of Randall Cunningham. Fly Eagles Fly!

As a Giants fan, I respected the hell out of Cunningham. He was a phenomenal player to watch.
I am a Eagles season ticket holder starting in 1985,it was a pleasure to watch him play and during his time in Philly the O line was never good unlike today and the Andy Reid years
Packer Fan here and I remember Cunningham scoring a TD on us by leaping from the 7 yard line and soaring into the End Zone when he was in Philly. I couldn't believe it.

Every summer, when QBs would do their annual "QB Challenge" prior to the start of the season, Randall would win the distance-throwing challenge without question, and it wasn't even close. Not only that, but all the other QBs would actually stand on the sidelines and gasp in awe at just how far he could fling the ball. Remember: we're talking about QBs like Montana, Aikman, Young, Marino, Kelly, Elway, etc., and _they_ were admiring Randall's arm.

Thank you for the video! Randall is a reason I got into NFL to start with, first game I ever watched was the Eagles game and he was amazing at Qb. Still an Eagles fan to this day! What's really underrated about Randall is his throwing ability, on his day he was extremely accurate, way better thrower than Vick!
