- This drive is a tour to see Dubai's futuristic skyscrapers.
The drive starts at Dubai Habour, a good observatory to see the skyscrapers around the Dubai Marina, then gets on Sheikh Zayed Rd to Downtown Dubai. After driving around Downtown Dubai, we get on Sheikh Zayed Rd again to Ibn Battuta Mall.

Dubai is a city that looks like it came out of a science fiction movie. It is a place of futuristic skyscrapers, artificial islands, and luxurious attractions. To me, it is a fascinating and inspiring place.

Beautiful shots and Dubai is still on my list of vacation destinations. But as a European, I can't imagine living in one of these high-rise buildings on an endlessly long and probably very loud highway. You probably won't be able to get anything done on foot and there will probably be a lack of walkable district centers for strolling, shopping and leisure activities.
Depends on what part of Dubai you visit. The parts mostly shown in this video is the downtown,more expensive, touristy, rich and modern parts of Dubai. These places as you said are just filled with big skyscrapers and not very much walking spaces. However, if you visit the older parts or more cheaper parts of Dubai like deira, you can find Many walkable areas, with many shops are souks everywhere. Plus unlike the newer side, nothing there is overpriced.

I never been there but its a beautiful. I'm sure residence are multimillionaires. Dubai is well kept and don't see garbage on the ground or graffiti writings

I love Dubai and have been there quite a few times, including now, and it’s really wonderful. I talked to many locals, including those in the service industry and they say that of you are not rich, there are still lots of things to do in Dubai and there are activities for families at all different price points and budgets whether you are wealthy or at a low income level. One thing for sure is that people who live here absolutely love it. It’s very clean, safe, and everyone is very friendly, polite, and patient. It’s truly a wonderful city.

I will never understand why people call Dubai and it's skyscrapers "ugly." They are some of the most beautiful scyscrapers in the world. The skyline and sheer impressiveness of it is inspiring. Imagine waking up every day and seeing more and more monuments to human engineering being constructed every day.
Those skyscrapers you seem to love so much were built by modern slaves and in the country, there's nothing else other than those skyscrapers. Still would rather live there than the West though.
They were built by people being paid 4 dollars an hour from countries where they would otherwise earn 0.5 dollars per hour. It's very popular to call it slavery, but it's simply a misunderstanding of economics. @@Rash7

@@Holyspace305 dubai has better job opportunities, no income tax, MUCH more safe than crime-ridden US and Canada. More diverse cultures and just personal preference. I despise the west.

I visited it trust me its no big deal at all. Just a modern city with nice buildings. Theres plenty of more beautiful places to visit in the world.

Same. I went to Dubai a few years ago and I don’t like that the desert is just a mile away from the burj khalifa. The air also looks dusty along with all those buildings but it does look lifeless. I mean of course Dubai is in a desert but it just doesn’t feel right

Why the highway are so vacant and empty?! A big city like this you would expect high traffic volumes in/out of the city? Maybe my only explanation to that is the majority of Dubai residents, who are the hard working immigrants, can't afford buying cars to occupy these beautifully highways!!
Mostly because it's not rush hour that the video was recorded in. Most people working in Dubai live in the neighbouring parts of Sharjah or the outer parts of Dubai due to cheaper rents. When it's rush Hour like around 6 pm especially this road, will be packed as people are trying to get home. Sometimes you have to be stuck in traffic forever. The reason why this video doesn't have much cars is beause it was either recorded in the weekends or it was recorded when everyone was working.
